Rio Carmen Hostel & Camping is an excellent place to stay! It is right in the middle of wonderful nature, and very accesible. The people in charge are very nice and the atmospehere was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this hostel if you plan to visit the area.

My friend and I stayed there for 2 nights, and for $11 were really disappointed. The dorm room was dirty, dusty and partially open to bug visitors. I dont think the showers or toilets got cleaned. When trying to cook some supper there was an infestation of flying ants absolutely everywhere (apparently a one off due to the recent downpours of rain) - it was a bit of a nightmare! Although the staff were friendly and it`s a nice place to escape the town if you are staying there a long time.

This is more a campground than a hostel, but the people are friendly. It is very basic and can be noisy. It has a great hostel feel for meeting new people.
