Very friendly & accomodating with the guests! *** They should consider changing the lock on the main entrance door! Way too old & almost impossible to lock-unlock! :) But I had a great experience! :)

Best place to stay on Barbados if you want to meet a lot of people and want to be close to the action. We had a private condo with bathroom and small kitchen, which was definitly worth the extra dollars.. I loved the place and did not like it we had to leave after 3 days..

We had a brilliant stay at Rio Guesthouse, it provided everything we needed and the staff were friendly and always there to help. Perfect location in St Lawrence Gap, great value, clean, what more could you ask for...

This is a super little place to stay.. It is very clean, safe and friendly in a great location in the gap, just opposite Dover beach Denis and his wife even threw a new years party for all the guests! I can highly recommend.

It was horrible....the room was really small....dirty...i had a window to a balcony where people were smoking and making noise at night...I left after 4 days because I couldnt stand it anymore. NEVER AGAIN HOSTELWORLD!

The staff was great! The energy is really good there and I met so many great travelers. The Rio is clean, charming and in a great location. I would definitely recommend this place!

Pros: Great location, low priced single rooms, clean. Cons: Lock on the front door lock needs repair, staff often moody and unfriendly. Overall 6.5 out of 10 is my rating.

Very simple place but very clean and safe. Paula and Dennis are very nice and helpful. Only 2 minutes from Dover beach where you can relax and swim with turtles if they are around. Also about 20 minutes from Town and 20 minutes from airport. Not difficult to find. If you get the bus from airport, just ask the driver to stop at St. Lawrence Gap and it's there. Anyone will help you with directions. You can use the kitchen and they have a fridge to keep your food. Also free internet. Recommend!

Rio Guesthouse (Paula and Denis) You guys were awesome. Thanks for answering all of my questions, being nice and friendly. I will definately come here again. The guesthouse was clean and I felt safe.
