Although the Rio is in an excellent location St Lawrence Gap, I think they need to upgrade the furniture, towels and bed sheets for the convenience of guests.

the plapce is very nice,and so are the people there.it is close to all the main places (beach,restaurants,pubs). the neighborhood is friendly (and the locals are lovely people)..the rooms are clean and comfortable. great vacation,and great place to be in,when you visit Barbados.

Overall a very nice place to stay.Great location, very clean relaxed friendly decent kitchen. However I stayed in room 10 which was an extremely basic room and poor value for $40, I saw room 6 which was very pleasant on my last day and couldnt believe the difference in the rooms for the same price.

Very friendly & accomodating with the guests! *** They should consider changing the lock on the main entrance door! Way too old & almost impossible to lock-unlock! :) But I had a great experience! :)

Best place to stay on Barbados if you want to meet a lot of people and want to be close to the action. We had a private condo with bathroom and small kitchen, which was definitly worth the extra dollars.. I loved the place and did not like it we had to leave after 3 days..

We had a brilliant stay at Rio Guesthouse, it provided everything we needed and the staff were friendly and always there to help. Perfect location in St Lawrence Gap, great value, clean, what more could you ask for...

This is a super little place to stay.. It is very clean, safe and friendly in a great location in the gap, just opposite Dover beach Denis and his wife even threw a new years party for all the guests! I can highly recommend.

It was horrible....the room was really small....dirty...i had a window to a balcony where people were smoking and making noise at night...I left after 4 days because I couldnt stand it anymore. NEVER AGAIN HOSTELWORLD!
