The owner/staff was very welcoming and kind and was a nice host. The room was big, clean and bright, the same for the bathroom. There was even a small kitchenette very helpful. The location was also perfect, 15mn from the central station and the same time to get into the center... I highly recommand it!

I thought that this was a great stay! The rooms were very nice and very clean(maid came every day). Lovely location and very quiet in the heart of Bologna.

We enjoyed the way the manager made us feel at home and even changed our accommodation to make it easier for the three of us to remain together. There were nice little touches like bottles of water to make us feel welcome.

I thought it was expensive for a b and b that didn't include breakfast. Not even a slice of bread. And talking to local people in the area they thought that it was too pricey as well.

For our needs it was perfect, we used the possibility of the little kitchen, even with the poor cooking equipment and little not so comfortable place to sit and eat. We were very happy, to have the chance preparing meals and save money - restaurants and bars were very expensive. We liked our room number two. The sharing of the bath with one other person was o.k.. The window was to the courtyard and our little kitchen-corner was directly infront of our room. We enjoyed our time in the Riva Reno.

Clean and no frills hostel in Bologna. Pretty clean and accessible. It was however quite hard to find first time. Unfortunately the owner was reluctant to stay 30 mins of his lunchtime so that we could pick our luggage up. It was also quite expensive compared to some of the places that I've stayed in but I'm not sure if it was because of the children's book fair.

Well located, good value, clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Very secure location. You can come and go as you please and have all the facilities needed for an independant stay. Close to the main train station, 2 minutes by foot to bus stops, cafes, supermarkets, tabacchi and in the historical centre. I should have booked earlier to secure a single room as I ended up paying for a twin although I stayed alone but I would stay here again if I oculd book further in advance

Pretty neat and clean and the location is not bad. 10-15 min walk from both the center as well as the station. The kitchen id ok abd the room is fine enough but a BIG drawback is lack of any wifi or internet access in or near the rooms. Si if that is imporrant to you, beware Otherwise, good enougj. The prices might be a bit too high considering everything.
