Office is next door yet the only way to be sure of reaching the owner/manager is to call so BRING a cell phone that works in Europe. No wi fi in the rooms - there is 2 euro an hour internet at a small laundry on a side street near the supermarket on corner of Marconi and Riva Reno. Owner /manager probably always in a big hurry but nice.

Strongly recommended.Perfect location in The center of The city very close to anything.Room was clean (with towels included), as The shared kitchen where it's possible to cook.I'll certainly come back when staying in Bologna.

Marco, the administrator was very helpful and gentile. The shared kitchen is a great way to save some money in the morning or midday, to spend it later in the evening in a nice italian restaurant! The hostel is in a very good location, only ten minutes by walk to the center. Some internet facilities would have been "that certain something" which was missing. Otherwise, I can only recommend this place. I had a great time in Bologna!

Highly recommended. Its near the center and has everything you need, like supermarkets, cigarettes and so on nearby. Theres a small kitchen with abfridge, coffeecans and pots, so youan cook your own food if you want to. The owner is extremely friendly and speaks English and German, maybe some more languages. We will definitely come back some time.

The rooms are very large and the staff very helpful. The biggest problem was that the kitchen is very poorly equipped. Once there wasn\'t even a sponge for cleaning the dishes. Moreover, the rooms are all pretty ill-lit, not exaclty too cosy and everything resounds very loudly all the time. Still a nice place, though. All in all we had a very good time.

Good location, the proprietor was a friendly guy, a decent value for the quality of the rooms. No included breakfast but decent kitchen facilities available

Marco was very helpful. He assisted us with the train, taxi, and an alarm clock.

glad they had a kitchen- need to buy a cutting board though. my room had a weird smell, like musty toilet water. it was faint, thankfully. If they had wifi and a cutting board it would have been perfect.

It was a nice stay. I didn't liked the location though. As I arrived there was nobody in the office. The announcement propses you to call the given number. It was a good thing that I already bought an italian prepaid sim-card. After five minutes the owner arrived. The service was quick, easy, kind and helping. The chamber was clean and simple. The hotels in Bologna are very expensive in comparison to other cities. So I should think that this bed and breakfas without a breakfast was a good call.

The room was quite basic, the guy was really helpful and showed us where to go (and not to go) and what to see&do in the city.

This hostel was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in!We had a room for 5 persons and a private bathroom! The rooms were so cute with all you need for a weekend stay! The facilities were so clean (there was a cleaning every day). And even the towels were included, what was very good because we traveled just with cabin-size bags and one receive a clean towel every day - that was more a hotel than a hostel! And the staff was so helpful, funny and competent & could speak german.I´ll come back!

We stayed to nights in a 5 bedroom in Riva Reno B&B and had a very good time. It was clean, the staff was very friendly and obliging. The Pension is located very central and so every place was within walking distance. Shops, Restaurants, Bars and Sightseeing was very close. Riva Reno B&B is recommendable.

Great staff. Besides Italian, the staff could speak English, German and Portuguese. Extremelly friendly, Marco took his time to give us a map, explain where to find everything around, where to take the bus, the cab, safety tips, good places to eat. The double room was quite big, super clean. The only downsize was the windows facing the road, so it was a bit noisy from the traffic. I go to Bologna once a year, and next year I'll certianly be there again!

The price is too high for such a basic and not really modern appartment. Anyway it was clean and there was television in the room and a hairdryer, so it was ok

We had a great experience at this B&B. As soon as the director knew we were getting off the train late he emailed me and let me know that the office was closed after 8pm. So we called him and he met us there after which was around 10pm\ 22:00. He was very nice and we were within close walking range of the center. There were multiple locks. There was a full kitchen with fridge, stove and dishes for use of all guests. Great bathroom in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Would love to go back.

The hostel was right near the town center, everything was very clean, the room was incredibly spacious for a hostel, all linens and towels were provided and clean, and the man who ran the hostel was INCREDIBLY friendly. If there was an "extra excellent" for staff I would have marked it. Absolutely recommend it.

It's in a decent location between the station & the centre, however when I arrived I had no idea if I was in the right place because there was no sign outside.
