This hostel is really easy to find and is so charming. The bathrooms were very clean and our room has a great view of river. I would highly recommend this place!!

Great location walkable to Old Town and Castle Hill. Very quiet facilities. We got a large private room for my 4 friends overlooking the river...great value. Shared bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Checkin at Hostel Emma a couple blocks away was easy. Owner spoke English. Convenience market 2 doors down.

I choose this hostel cause in one review read that it's quiet and almost empty and that definately proved true. I spent 4 night in 6 bed room, half of my stay I was alone. There were I guess 3-4 people in the whole hostel. Location is really good - subway stations and tram stops all around. Everything is clean although not of best quality (cheap IKEA, cracked here and there) but for this price it's ok. Overall it's good but definately not for people looking for rich social life in th hostel :)

Good located big flat with not enough showers. Can't imagine more poeple there and waiting time for bathroom. When i was there was quiet and calm. Too many keys and doors to lock. No reception. Very nice kitchen like at home. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Not very comfortable beds. I prefer their Hostel Emma where i want to come back.

We spent a very nice time there, thank you! The only thing we didn't like very much is that most of the time there was nobody there (in reception) in order to ask things and so on. But anyway, it was great.

River Bank was exactly the hostel that I needed: affordable, quiet, and centrally located. Do not stay in this hostel if you\'re looking to meet lots of people or party. It\'s a quiet hostel right by the river that has beautiful views of the city and river (get one of the private twins if you can!). The man who checked me in and who does the maintenance is really nice too! Downsides: mean cleaning lady who didn\'t clean the bathrooms the five days i was there and broken shower head holders. 8/10

The best view you can get from a hostel as it faces the river and the castle district on the other side. Although a little further from the rail or bus stations, you can easily get here using the tram. A decent place with all the basic facilities in good condition. There is no reception so you will always be directed to Emma Hostel, from where a guy would direct you to this hostel. He was really helpful and recommended some really good places for meals on a budget and also how to get around.

It is a very good place for a very good price. The biggest disadvantage is that you never know who will be you roommate. Unfortunately some guests are very thoughtless - what is not a hostel´s fault.

Staff was uncaring, unwilling to offer any sugestions or assistance about anything. It seemed that they were offended if you asked any questions. I did mention to one staff member there on my last day about my concerns and only then he asked if I needed any help with anything. Bathroom shower heads all broken so you had to hold wand with hand while you shower, putting water all over the floor. Things are not the cleanest. Would not recommend

No reception desk at this hostel. Need to walk about 2 blocks away. Not a problem but good to know when you're trying to check in.

+ the view from our room was amazing! + the staff was friendly and spoke english fluently. + anything was clean and fine - loud talking of the staff at the hall wakes you in the morning... and they go on for about 2 hours.

Nicea and clean. Good Internet Service. High heating always on, makes you forget the cold. They provide towels for free if you ask for them. Fridge was out of order.//I want to highlight that e-mail the best way to reach the recepcionist when I needed sthng. They answer very quickly//The only problem that I see in this place, is if you have bad luck with other guests that are too loud or something undesirable, is that there is noone on duty during the night to solve unexpected problems quickly.

This hostel was quite good. The only problem was, that it was too hot in the room where I slept. And also the fridge in the kitchen was not working. However, I liked my stay there and met some nice and friendly people.

The only problem is lack of reception at River Bank Hostel - guests have to go first to Emmma Hostel (located few minutes away). But the guy in charge of the RB hostel picked me up and led to my hostel very quickly, he was also there in the morning to check me out as agreed the evening before. You can also leave your luggage after check out at Emma Hostel, if you want to walk a bit around the city before your depart. Be prepared to give refundable deposit of 10euros or 200crowns for the keys.
