I love River City Inn! People checked-in were sociable and friendly while the staffs were approachable and were nice. Free use of computers and the breakfasts were awesome! The bathroom was clean. I would love to stay here again next time I go back to SG for a vacation :)

I stayed at the 6 bed dorm for 3 nights and it was perfect. The air conditioner was turned on only from 9 pm to 9 am. It would have been great if you had the air conditioner working in the afternoon, providing some relief from Singapore weather. The big dorm is just too big. 26 people in one room is just too much, stayed in the big dorm for 1 night, didn't like it.

Very good place to stay in in this city. Would send all friends to this hostel. Staff goes out of their way to help. Nice to get free coffee etc all day. Especially nice as we had a 1 AM flight so they let us stay in the common area to look at the TV till we went to the airport for free. Very clean. Robert Wilkinson

Clean and comfortable place to stay. The staff is friendly and they guide you everything before settling down. 7min walk to the MRT stop and 4th floor is a little hard for backpackers. Free coffee and self-service breakfast. Better with lockers outside the room to avoid noise of packing. Due to high price of commodity in SGP, the price almost doubles my stay in KL. :(

lockers should be located outside of the bedroom, since they create noise.

The staff were really helpful and so friendly. The place is very clean annd the peanut butter, Nutella and banana on toast for breakfast is amazing. The only negative thing I'd say is its a little cramped in the dorm and there are only 3 showers for a large number of people so there was usually a line. Other than that it was one of the best places I've stayed in south east Asia.

My 4 time in Singapore and my 3rd on Hong Kong Street. However it is the first time I stay at River City Inn, I choosed for the reviews and the location, will go back because it live up to it reviews and that the location is exelent. Close to MRT, takes you all over Singapore, also the airport. Good varity of food, expensive at Boat and Clark Quay, cheap in Chinatown and other food markeds. Find most around the corner, and if you want to go further away one got the mrt.

A few of us stayed here and we loved this hostel! It's very clean, friendly and we throurslly enjoyed our stay here. It's a little out if the way from some of the main attractions but it is right next to an mrt train station and this made it very easy to get around!

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Extremely clean and good location. Although, I would suggest to have tissues or napkins available on the dining table and next to the sinks.
