Really enioyed the hot tub!!! If we had known how nice it's there we would have stayed longer. Try to stay at least two night!

Appearing as a ranch home from the road, the hostel opens up as a quaint guest-home in something of a backyard paradise, complete with laundry facilities, outdoor shower, and hottub. Nicholas and Craig were excellent hosts, sharing information about the town and hanging with the travelers over a beer.

Really lovely place.. a beach bungelow.. not like a hostel at all. There's a hot tub which is wonderful after long day of sightseeing. One of the top hostel places I stayed in. Walking distance to downtown Fort Myers and driving distance to Sanibel/Captiva island although I would say it's about 45 minute drive to there. This is the closest hostel that I could find to the islands. We really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you!!!

Nice small hostel. 6 people max. The owner is very nice and his dog (a Great Dane, dont be afraid of dogs) is the smartest and funniest ever. I liked staying there a lot, nice common area, great 1-bed "Dorm". You need a car if you want to go anywhere else than downtown Fort Myers (and thats not very big). The beach is far by public transport...The Hostel is great!!! One of the best I ever stayed at.

I stayed at the River District Youth Hostel for four nights at the end of August with my brother, and we found this hostel to be a lovely little home from home. If you are wanting to stay in Fort Myers this hostel is in a great location at an excellent price. The hostel itself is small, only 6 beds, but it has brilliant facilities including a lovely garden and a jacuzzi. The owner Nicolas is a friendly helpful guy, but he generally stays out the way. Highly recommended!
