sooooo many Koreans.... the kitchen is a little bit of mess... lack of places to hang the washed clothes.. Apart from that is all good. the view is extremely nice, just beside the river, the camp is very warm. the price is reasonable

Its basically a camping site with housing lodges (hence river lodge). The walls are paper thin though but there was no noise while i stayed there for 2 nights. Security isnt there at all all the rooms are just accessible to anyone. There is no luggage room either. There is wifi however. The kitchen was great and very useful as switzerland is an expensive country to eat in. The kitchen was large and had a stove and microwave. The area was clean and the hostel was cheap (by swiss standards).

I stayed at one of the rooms in the main building. Security could be an issue, the doors open to the outside and people often screw up the locking mechanism. That said, I doubt you will have a problem given the location. The campground/lodge is located by the river with a great view of the alps and the water. It is also only a short walk to hiking trails and the train station. They have a big kitchen and laundry facilities available. Note that you have to walk outside to get to the showers.

The river lodge hostel was a great place to stay. It's conveniently located and everything is walkable. If you're coming to interlaken to hike, just be aware that you'll most likely need to take a train to most hiking routes which is an additional cost. The kitchen at the hostel is great and very well equipped! There's a grocery store located close by with everything one needs. Great relaxing place to stay!

Bathrooms could've been a tad cleaner and would've loved more substantial locks. But we loved the place, the games, the common area, and everything else. ALSO - fans would've been GREAT!
