Not a bad hostel although quite far from the central attiractions. In the heart of China town it gives you the opportunity to explore the tiny backstreets with numerous street food shops & loads of old spare car parts! Not the glamorous part of the city. Tuk-tuk drivers were struggling to find the place but if you end up in Khoa San road after 8pm the river service is no longer in operation so that's pretty much the only way to get back. Unless you want to walk. Basic room but clean. Staff ok

We were very happy with the staff and communications. The rooftop restaurant was amazing. Fantastic views and the we were right in the thick of it all and could get cheap street food and it was yummy. We would definitely consider going back to the guest house next year. We had a wonderful experience.

We've had a very good stay at the River View Guest house. It was a guess going there, as we didn't really know where to stay in Bangkok, but it turned out to be in a very nice location, just a 5 minute walk from Chinatown, where we could get tons of street food. The staff was friendly and, despite being a bit low on English, was very helpful. We've really enjoyed our stay here. Our only complaint were the paperthin walls in the low-budget bedroom. We could hear everyone on the stairs.
