They charged me half a day in extra because I checkout 1 h late ...They didn\'t told me this at the checkin. Its not nice at all. it should be a friendly backpacker place not a old hotel that want only your money.....

Easy to find using the hostel's website instructions. The hostel is along the river next to numerous bars/clubs. Good room with wired internet. Would recommend.

Can use the B1 Exit. However, when above ground (face not facing the station) turn right walk through the backlane. When meet with road turn left and walk straight all the way till you see Pearl River. After which turn right (your face facing the river) and walk all the way and look on the right for the Hostel.

Quiet and clean (apart from the rats in the hallway) location is good in a quiet part of town staff are friendly. It is cold in the rooms though as there is no heating and the a/c doesnt have hot air apparently although they wouldnt give us the remote control to try ourselves. It's going to be very cold in winter.Would go back if it was summer though.

The directions given from the website need to be rewritten. It says something like walk ten minutes but not which way and is very confusing when it can be so simple. get out of the train walk to the left until the first corner turn left until you hit the river and walk to the right until you see the youth hostel.

It was an alright place. Cheapest place I found online n Guangzhou so you can't complain but there was no real travellers there and the ones I did meet were mostly expats or people there working so it wasn't that fun. But it fit my purpose so I can't complain. Oh and directions are bad so get off on the B2 exit and you'll be on Luju road. Follow that all the way till you hit the river and turn right. It will be located on your right hand side with english signs. I walked a while to the left.

Come here if you wanna see rats as big as cats running in the corridor and hear them screaming at night inside the fake ceiling. They might help you more than the careless and rude staff. I got stolen a new coat in the room and to my insistence of checking inside other guests wardrobes in my room got angry and even shouted to me that it was impossible that anything got stolen in their hotel. Location is a bit far from the center but close to a bar street frequented by the locals.
