we stayed two nights and it was a very nice place, with good people and a good hall where all the backpackers eat, talk or drink. Really good hostel with high standards.

Very friendly staff, no problems there. Good English skills. Private rooms are nice, like standard hotel rooms so good value for money. I would stay there again next time I am in Guangzhou.

location location location. great little street nearby with shopping and a smallish night market with great food. good views across the river. close to the metro and the ferry terminal. place is kinda big though and i dont know if you will meet too many people there unless you hang out in the lobby all day.

My initial impression with the check in staff is that they were already annoyed with me. They did little to change my opinion over the days I stayed there. It wasn't particularly clean, it wasn't dirty either. The location was wonderful and the other guests were wonderful. The hang out area was quite nice and their coffee was pretty good. But my first reception and their attitude scared me away from asking for help.

compare this youth hostel with the others let me think it doesn't worth the money spent(no rent towel, no lockers, are two examples), that's it.

this hostel was ok. the staff was friendly. i just didn't like the fact that you had to pay for everything (i.e. a towel or a locker)... but besides it was a really nice hostel! the metro station is also very close to the hostel!

Good location, just 10 minute walk to the subway. Just that in winter, their air conditioning do not have a heater unit and it can get quite chilling as the blanket isn't too thick. You can also request for extra blanket. The TV reception is not strong, but I don't really use it anyway. The place is clean and you have a good chance to meet people from all over the world.

It was a great hostel overall, only downsides...our air unit was broken so was beyond freezing in our room didn't sleep well but obviously that wouldn't affect majority....and only Internet in lobby slight inconvenience but overall great hostel definitely worth what we paid. Plus perfect location.

difficult to get to especially if you arrive late via airport/coach and metro. The coach station is a bit dodgy late at night and the metro is not well signposted. The hostel is old and the bathrooms (even with some new fittings) was crudy. There is no excuse for mould on the bathroom walls and floors. No wifi in the rooms. This is the worst hostel of my 3 week stay in china.
