Great place to stay in Florence. Right beside to the Arno and 5 minutes away from Il Duomo and Palazzo degli Uffizi. Unique atmosphere and a warm and capable staff. Most recomendable.

In the entrance of the building there is a smell of gas, which means a leakage, that is dangerous. There is an other smell but into the hostel, in the reception, it's very bad and also there are broken furnitures. In the bedroom nobody does the cleaning service even one single day. There is not toilet paper. One night, there was a fight in the reception of the hostel, we could listen screams and hits between the men that were there. No one told us what happened. A really bad experience.

Nice friendly place in a pretty good location. They were renovating at the time of our stay which at times was loud, but not to bad. We sent an email after our stay, as we left a tshirt there but are still yet to here back from them. Overall, great value for money.

Clean hostel (or hotel?). Private shower and toilet. Big room. Only cash payment. Tourist tax is 2 € pppn

It was a nice stay for us. The "Boss" offered us a room with private bathroom on same price. However, it was on a different location which is close to Riverbank's. The street was really noisy. It's a decent hostel and good value for the money.

Good location and nice rooms but the rest of the hostel was disgusting. The main area and kitchen were seriously gross and unclean, the stench was unbearable. We paid 5€ for a/c which turned out to be on a timer so turned off during the night. The staff were 2 men, one slept on the couch in the main area at night, he didn't change his clothes in the 3days we were there, hence the awful smell. They were a bit too friendly, we wouldn't recommend staying if you're a female travelling alone.

We were very pleased. Had booked without any bathroom, but the owner gave us a splendid room with private bathroom at no upcharge. Highly recommended!

It is apartment, staff living inside same apartment and they make reception place smelly and dirty, one day there was a woman coming acted like unfriendly mistress. We killed a bed bug with full of blood at the first morning when we got up, and had to pay extra 5 euros each day for air conditioner, because couldn’t sleep with opening window, too noisy, even the temperature was ok to sleep without air conditioner on. The wash basin in the bath was blocking at first time we used to bush our teeth

The primary object for the operators here is to make money, not provide a service. The room was filthy, not even swept clean. The fridge did not work, it was running but was NOT cold and smelt off. The 'staff' were intimating Romanian males who continually watched loud Romanian TV and continually laughed loudly at the TV. We were not shown kitchen facilities nor made to feel welcome. When leaving I asked them to call a taxi and was told it would cost me 2 to 5 euro for the call - I walked out.

Air con usage is €8 for the night additional to your daily price. There are no lockers. Staff are helpful to an extent. Wifi is quite bad in rooms. No travelers atmosphere at all.

Our room was upgraded, so instead of a private room with shared bathroom, my friend and I got a magnificient appartment with a stunning view of the Duomo ! So everything about our stay was perfect !

Great place! Be sure to ask for towels when you first get there because staff wasn't there later on. Would suggest this place to anyone. It's extra money for air conditioning but it wasn't that much and it was worth it. And great wifi connection.

This was a great place! We stayed in a private double, booked last minute. The location listed is just the office then the lodging is on the other side of town, really close to the city center. Our room looked directly over the duomo! The man didnt speak great English but was funny and helpful. For a short private visit, couldn't have asked for anything better!
