Awesome hostel, close to the city but not right in the middle, free wifi and heaps of DVDs for free, bike hire was cool to cruse around on, nice environment to stay at very chilled out like stay a good friends house, one of the best hostels I've stay in. Everyone should check it out

It was a very strange set up and you are basically staying in the garage of someone's house. There are 3 bunkbeds in the garage and they all felt like they were going to break. There were no locks on the doors for safe keeping of your things and the rooms weren't cleaned at all. The kitchen was good but if there was anyone else in there you had no chance of being able to cook. It's also nowhere near the centre so if you want to go anywhere you gave to get the boat which is 5 dollars each way.

The main house was nice but the basement where our room was is a bit make-shift and not overly clean. But the free wifi and laundry was a good addition.

Really fast, free, internet is the best thing that this hostel has going for it, and I think it had free laundry too. The staff were nice and I met nice people who were staying here, but the accommodation wasn't great. It's a good long walk to the nearest supermarket, so make sure you have food before you arrive.

An awesome hostel - small, private rooms for less money (double bed), felt like home as not so many people live there :) We really enjoyed our stay there.

The hostel was very clean and quiet and the staff were very friendly and professional. It was easy for me to sleep here and get some rest before I continued my travels. There is free internet and free laundry which was a great change from many of the other hostels I have stayed at here in Australia. I was lucky enough to be here for a 5 dollar dinner where the manager of the hostel cooked up an amazing feast for all the guests. Highly recommended, one of the best hostels in Australia. Thank You

Unbelievable dirty! There was blood on the shower curtain and we had to stay in the cellar, which was full of spiders (in Australia!!!) It seemed to me that this wasn't a hostel but a guy how rented his basement to unknown Backpackers. The smell of weed was in the air, all day long. It took us at least 45 minutes to get to the city center and we always had to take the ferry which was quite expensive. Conclusiones: unakzeptable

I will not recommend this hostel to anyone whatsoever! First of all as some people have already said - its a mans house! You might say, well i dont care as long as i can sleep there and eat my food. But i think you should know that everything in that house is messy. You cant even use the laundrymachine because its too dirty! The fridges havent been cleaned up in a very long time, and everything looks basically like how a dirty teenager would leave the house after throwing a big party!
