Definitely will stay here again, if I am back in Berlin! Away from the touristy areas and in the midst of all the local vibes and fun that Berlin offers, Riverside Lodge is still very accessible by the metro. Lots of cafes and places to chill at nearby; even by the river you can hear a DJ spinning! The beds are incredibly spacious, especially the 6-bed room. Never had a hostel that didn't make me feel cramped and conscious until here at Riverside Lodge ;) Thank you Enrico!!!

We stayed in the Double Bed Private- it is a room that shares kitchen and bathroom with another room in an apartment just next to the dorms. The standard was very good! The room was pretty and clean and the facilities were also nice. It was close to a lot of restaurants and nightlife and also by the river so you can make a nice walk. Kreutzberg is not the prettiest or cleanest district but it is quite fun. Also very close to U-bahn. Enrico- the hostel owner was a nice guy and very helpful!

As you can see by our ratings we would recommend this hostel to other friends and family. We did have a problem checking in as the number we had to call the owner and the number painted on the door of the hostel was no longer in service. We talked about this with the owner and I'm hoping he has changed the number on his website. The check-in times were limited also---that could be improved as one never knows how long it takes to get to your rental from the airport if this is a new city.

This hostel was the perfect location for traveling and seeing Berlin. Thanks for your hospitality Enrico! This hostel was the icing on the cake that is Berlin. The common area was a great place to come back and relax after a day of traveling. The hostel is a short walk from the East Side Gallery, which is part of the Berlin Wall, and it is near a metro entrance from which you can get anywhere in the city really fast.

We enjoyed our stay in Berlin a lot and most of this was down to the great recommendations of the manager of the hostel. He sat us down and explain on a map where to go and what to do in great detail which was so helpful. We stayed in the private rooms which are separate to the hostel so good if yo like to do your own thing( which we do) but I would recommend the main hostel part if you want to meet others.very clean and friendly great hostel!

Very nice place to stay in Berlin. The neighborhood is full of small bakeries, cafes etc. The hostel cozy, small, clean, friendly. Enrico is always helpful and tells you everything about where to go in Berlin. Large beds with curtains for extra privacy if feel so. It was like a home with visitors around world. Great hostel!

That's the best hostel ever, the host, Enrico, did a very good job, gave us many suggestions of sightseeing and eating. He's very nice to every guests, very funny guy and talkative, u will never feel bored when his is around. Also the place keep very clean, I like the six bed room and the big bath room, in six bed room there's a big space for each guest, that is very unusual, the bath room is super clean. If u r looking for a hostel to stay, this is a hostel worth to. We'll be back for sure.

This is a great hostel in the trendy part of Kreuzberg. Although it is not in the middle of the city, for me it was a better place to stay - nice and quiet with tonnes of choices for restaurants and bars nearby. A few times a week there are markets along the riverside, literally just a few steps from the door of the hostel. Enrico is an incredibly cool guy and has so many tips for making the most of your time n Berlin - so much so that I ended up staying 3 nights longer than planned!

Enrico, the owner, was super helpful and very knowledgeable of Berlin. We stayed in an apartment so can't really say much for the atmosphere, but there is good communal space and facilities in the main hostel. Really good location in the heart of Kreuzberg, would definitely recommend.

Super clean room, bathroom and kitchen and decorated so cute! The security is excellent and is located about five minutes away from a metro stop, making a really easy commute to just about anywhere you'd like to go in Berlin. The staff was incredible!!! It was almost like we had our own personal tour guide. He took so much time out to help us figure out the best places to go for the short time we were there and made sure we understood the bus/metro systems. Such a nice guy!
