Very nice hotel , friendly people ,good location , good English speaking reception , they book a tour to ha long bay , and sapa , give us good price and the best trip I when in Vietnam . Hight a recommen this hotel .. I will come back

The room is clean and the bed is comfortable The hotel location is so so convenient and near the church ! Most importantly , the staff are so nice and helpful. When you encounter any problems , just seek help from them , the staff must help you !!! Here , really thank you Philip ,Nathan , and other staff !

Brilliant hotel in Hanoi. Arrived and we were offered drinks and then shown to our room. Staff were very helpful throughout and arranged our Halong Bay cruise and our train tickets to Hue. Rooms clean and comfortable, with good air con. Breakfast very good in morning. They kept our bags safe when we went to Halong Bay, and also gave us a room free of charge to shower and relax in on our return, just before the night train. Highly recommend.

During my asian trip we stayed 1 night on this hotel and it was the best property we found ! We choose a private double room, it's cheap and very clean and there is a lot of space. They provide service like landry, bus tickets, train tickets, tourism tour for Halong bay or Sapa for very good prices. The breakfast is very good and tasty. And all the staff ( Philip the director is a very cool and good guy, very friendly ) is very cool, serious and they will help you for everything you need.

The only problem is the signage of the hotel. The hotel name on my booking was different to the actual name on the building. So when we arrive at the correct building, we weren't sure and kept on walking.

Excellent staff

Very helpful staff and a great location! Good value for money too!

We had a great stay here and were so impressed with the welcoming, helpful and English speaking staff. They went out of their way to help us with everything from laundry to flights, trips and information. They were always chatty, smiling and never pushed anything on us. We spent two separate nights here, both rooms were comfy, clean and had good working air con. Breakfast is included and there is lots of variety!

For info: name has changed to splendid upiter hotel. Rooms are nice but the ones facing toward the street where a bit noisy. Also rooms close to reception are noisy (can hear telephone ringing at night etc). Staff was nice and breakfast ok.

the staff was very friendly and helpful! they also offer all kind of tours and tickets for good prices, after negotiating. as the hotel is very central, everything can be walked by feet

1. The location is so perfect, 5-min walk to central lake and 1-min walk to Hanoi Cathedral. 2. It is supremely quiet inside the room, which is a great privilege since motorbikes in Hanoi are flowing all the time. 3. Atmosphere is not so good, I can barely find public areas with backpackers but only a restaurant with mostly none in it. I think I will visit it again next time I come to the city.
