This brand new backpackers is the only hostel in the Breede River Valley and one of the very few on Route 62 (the longest wine route in the world), which makes it a pretty good base for exploring the area.
The spacious old Victorian house, dating from the 1880's, has been converted into a comfortable and friendly hostel. Here lazy hammocks slurp up the mountain views and crazy days take in outdoor adventures and free wine tasting at 21 different farms.

A place like home away from home. Lovely house with garden, kitchen & inside fireplace. Very helpful manager about what to do in the area. We had 2 lovely days there - recommended. Thanks :)
