Great hostel, don't be taken in by the deals though if you're staying Friday/Saturday, they are mostly for Sunday-Thursday (but they seemed like great deals, just couldn't use any for my stay).

The hostel seems to be half completed. We were in a room that had roof bits missing, raw wires coming out the wall and rain damage was all over. Our room was connected to the bowling lanes office by a glass door so we heard loud and long conversations past 1am when they were counting money. The toilet facilities were a fair way away due to some closer being out of order, it also took me three showers to find hot water. Besides the above, location was pretty good and security was reasonable.

All in all a good hostel with many large dorm rooms, I ended up being alone in a room which was great!

A good standard hostel that could dowith a little bit of investment. Huge common areas and it is adjacent to a bowling alley and pizza service.

It's a little bit loud at night but I guess there is no choice

Very friendly staff, I loved that. I liked the free wi fi and the location. I didn't like the common toilet and showers.

This hostel is almost impossible to find if you are going off google maps as there is two different Nelson streets in Bristol, the one in the centre is the right one but on google maps it says the rock n bowl is in a residential area quite a way out of the city. The hostel is on top of a bowling alley/nightclub so our room was vibrating from the loud music that was being played.

The bathrooms were coed and the showers were very dirty. The room was clean, but the only locker storage was on the main floor. The hostel was extremely loud as it was next to a bowling alley with live music playing outside. The kitchen was great.

Really nice hostel. I'm trying to find something bad but I can't do it. The rooms and the whole hostel is modern, spacious and well cleaned. I realised most of the people there were long-term guess and it seems that makes the hostel to be lively, friendly but also respectful. All the staff (I think I've spoken with three or four guys) were really nice and helpful but Adam deserves special mention for his easygoing but effective help. It was a pitty I could only be one day there. Thanks :)

Nice to have the Bowling Lane right in the cellar. Tiny rooms for 3 ppl too tiny. Cleanliness of bathroom is poor. But just for sleeping it is OK.

Well located, close to the bus station and Nelson street. Gets very noisy at night due to the bar downstairs, but they provide earplugs if you ask for them. No breakfast and the kitchen is quite messy. Some of the beds are comfortable, others aren't.

It´s a great hostel in the city center clean and every thing quite good. And for the people who like you can go to the bowling in the ground floor and get reduce Price for stay in the hostel

Very big Hostel, located right in the center of Bristol, very close to the Coach Station. There's always someone hanging out in the kitchen or the large recreation room which is nice if you like to be in good company. Some of the toilets were out of order, though. Nevertheless, a nice hostel!

Warm and cozy, it was a good place to rest up after a 24hr flight. Late checkout, free wifi, good character and atmosphere. The only bad point was the place needs a good fix up, it's in a bit of a sorry state.
