They had an ironing board and a hair dryer, which is a rare plus for hostels like this. However, common rooms were intolerably loud, there was no room in the fridges for my food, and the staff was crazy rude. I was chilling on a couch after checkout waiting for the time my bus would arrive since it was pouring out, and I was asked how long exactly Id be sticking around. Seriously? Ugh.

Very noisy with construction next door and the bowling alley and bar serving late into the night downstairs. Great location close to everything.

Loved the big kitchen and the different spaces to hang out in. But the wifi was absolutely horrible and the bathrooms weren't as clean as I would have liked. The rooms were a little small for the amount of beds as well. Cool place in a good location, but not the best hostel I've ever been in.

perfect place for party men

Staff are very informative, bedding is clean and comfortable. Facilities are great, chill out area, kitchen with everything you need! Security is good as you need key card to get between levels. Although my locker in room was broken and couldn't lock it. You need to take your own lock. In good location near to town. Little expensive for dorm rooms but all hostels in Bristol charge the same so I would rate this one worth the money.

Nice stay, clean and friendly. Breakfast is very basic.

very well located, big kitchen and common areas. Showes were private which I really liked. Plugs in next to each bed, wifi in rooms, just very noisy at nights. Missing secure luggage storege at rooms.

I stayed on night on the Rock n'' Bowl and quiet enjoyed my stay. They have a massive kitchen and a good system to keep it clean and tidy.

Great location, friendly staff, pretty good hostel, would go back.

Good staff and good deals such as free bowling some nights which is a great way to meet new people. Dorms were clean and the rooms weren't too over crowded for the size they were

Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds, rooms and bathrooms were fine. Huge amount of long term people there which meant the kitchen was always busy and very little fridge and storage space available.

Had a fantastic stay, everyone was lovely, and the staff were great. Great location!

Good for a night, nice kitchen. You should check the lockers in the bedrooms, some of them are broken (where you put the lock); the staff could be more friendly instead of just looking your pc screens; lack of interest in traveller's needs; anyway you supply the basic stuff for one night.

Great hostel, really big and spacious with excellent facilities and a fun atmosphere

Everything u need in a hostel rooms were too warm which meant a little bit smelly but what do u expect from a room with 12 beds and lots of sweat. ;) Toilets were clean as were the bathrooms. Bowling was good, drinks in the bar were expensive but overall a good place to stay.

Showed up at 2am, left at 9am the next morning. Slightly noisy, but it was a bank holliday. Down the road from bars, and near the large shopping centre.

If you're arriving at the bus station then this is the hostel for you. Staff were really helpful, there's cheap pizza downstairs, as well as a bar and bowling or some cool bars nearby in the old part of town.

Came there after a sleepless night and a long flight - and while trying to nap there was seriously loud heavy metal music from the club downstairs. I can sleep through most things - but I just managed to sleep a few winks through this. Apart from that it was all right, I had to walk pretty long to find a place to eat after 9PM but I assume that's a problem of Bristol rather then the hotel.

Situated within 5-10-minute walking distance from the commercial centre and the touristic centre, the hostel is managed by a friendly team of staff. Social areas include a fully-equipped kitchen and lounge area with TV, sofas, table-tennis table and computer desks. Your luggage can be locked within the cages situated at the bottom of the bunk-beds (provided that you have your own lock with you) or kept inside a storage room against a small fee. Also visit the adjacent bar The Lanes!!

A bit of noise during the night
