This place needs a very big clean-up. I didnt want to touch anything, put my head on a pillow or sit on a couch. Everything was really old and dirty, even the lightbulb in the lamp had dust on it. None of the dvd's worked, there was no remote for the TV and all of the facilities were really old. Could have potential if it had a really big clean up. Also very hard to find the place.

Over all fairly good. Only complaints, fridge smelt like off milk, and pool needed chlorine. Would have paid a bit more for the cabin if it had a tv...

Friendly staff. Nice swimmingpool. About 15 min. walk to big airconditioned shoppingcenter Stockland. Go in direction of MacDonalds. 1 or 2 nights is enough for here. When you like botanical gardens; then you need a whole day for that. There is a local bus 4a going to Bot. Gardens. Busstop some minutes from the hostel. It is a pity that they have no Wifi. You can go to the library downtown or to MacDonalds. Both for free.

The hostel is located a 15 minute walk from the city centre. They run vans to bring travellers to the bus station. The staff are ok. The hostel is a bit rough around the edges! But the bedrooms are clean and air con goes all and stays on all night. The kitchen is well-equipped. The atmosphere is ok. The tv room has a DVD player and we were looking forward to watching a DVD until we realised someone had shoved a DVD into the mechanism so it was broken :(

Not the newest hostel but the facilities are functional, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom more or less clean. There is a little swimming pool, a TV room and a lot of space on the complex. The kitchen is renovated.
