Rocky Mountain Hotel

Under new management (Atef and Jane from Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp), the Rocky Mountain Hotel is close to the town center and offers its guests spectacular views of the Petra mountains. Visitors can sit back and relax on the hotel's balconies or rooftop terrace and enjoy the sunset, mountain panorama and later on, the lights of the town. Tea is served (bedouin or english) compliments of the hotel.

Traditional breakfast is served in the morning (fresh pitta bread, fresh tomatoes, cheese, hummous, lebaneh, jam, olive oil and zarta and eggs, tea and coffee). Light snacks are available during the day, as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks. Lunch boxes are also available but need to be ordered the night before. Breakfast is included in the price of the room.

There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby and in some of the rooms. Guests can also use the hotel's computer for free.

A complimentary shuttle service is available to and from the main gates of Petra (a 5 min drive) and parking is available in front of the hotel. We will also pick guests up and drop them off at the bus station free of charge.

Guests also have the opportunity to visit our bedouin camp in Little Petra (see Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp) and have a traditional dinner under the stars. We provide free transportation there and back to the hotel.

Our philosophy is captured by the arabic saying - betna betkum - 'our home is your home'. All of our guests are very welcome. We are here to look after you.
