Great location (fantastic view to "city" of Petra), shops / restaurant in close distance. Very helpful and friendly staff. Traditional breakfast. All in all we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Not good meal at Sun City which was highly recommended by the Manager. Facilites very clean, staff very friendly and the location/view is perfect.

Jane realises that most people will only 'do' Petra once in a lifetime, and she goes out of her way to ensure that you will get the most out of your stay. Can't go wrong with this one.

The very best place to start your visit in Petra. Jane is very, very helpful person and the hotel itself is nice, cozy establishment with great view on Wadi Musa and mountains.

It was nice to be able to make a cup of tea at any time!! Also hotel very hepful when I left my passport behind, they arranged to deliver it to my next hotel in Amman. We were offered lifts to Petra gate and to the bust station - very helpful. All round a very good budget hotel.

Rocky Mountain is a high quality hostel. The rooms were well presented and very clean. The manager and her staff were extremely helpful and responsive, going out of their way to ensure my family and I had an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was god, and the free tea/coffee available throughout the day in the lobby area were appreciated. The balcony offered great views over Wadi Musa itself.

It's one of the farthest hostels from the entrance to Petra, but we had a rental car, so it wasn't a big deal. If one were walking, it's quite a trek to the top of the hill. There are good options for meals all around. The continental breakfast was a nice way to start the day. The triple room was very small with a horrible view, and the bathroom was like a closet. It was a good value for the money, however.

A little far from the centre, hence the entrance to Petra. Which basically means that a taxi is required for every move you do. However the hotel offers amazing views! Not to mention the super-kind saff. The lady in charge was very easy-going, kind, well informed about everything, always willing to help. Amazing experience!

Jane runs a really tight ship and it shows in the way you feel about the place after staying there. I'd definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Petra. It was clean, homely and very sociable - but not party central ! There are a number of nice touches that add to the hotel including the local knowledge of Jane and team. It really added to our experience of Petra. Thank you to all at Rocky Mountain.

Great hostel, although the heating seemed a bit erratic. The staff were very helpful. It would be great if the advice about bus services, weather forecast, etc. would be even more complete.

It was a great hotel ever! They had an electric heater so we never felt cold in the room! They let me use the washing machine in the hotel and even served the dinner for us! What an amazing hotel! I appreciate the owner's hospitality so much!

Very nice and cozy place, with friendly staff, a great view over the city and mountains. Though very cold outside while I was in Petra, the room and showers were hot. Excellent breakfast. The hotel also proposes dinners at the bedouin camps which I definitely recommend. Good food and nice atmosphere in tents heated by a fireplace. I'll definitely recommend this hotel!
