We stayed at this hotel for two days in May and we highly recommend it! It has beautiful terrase at the roof with a picturesque view, stuff and the owner are very friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and decorated in a local way. They offer local food, which is also very good.

Great place to stay, Jane (an english/kiwi lady who is narried to a local) is lovely and very helpful, it's 3jd to the entrance of Petra if you miss any of the free shuttle buses, highly recommend watching the sunset from the terrace and having a meal there, the evening Meal is cooked by a local chef and the food is amazing! Highly recommend.

Bedrooms are very very very cozy and comfortable! The breakfast is pretty good too. Jane, the owner, is very kind and helpful. They have transfer to the entrance of Petra for free. The hotel is a little far from there, but there are a lot of commecial places around and a fantastic view of the mountains . Free and good wifi. I strongly recommend it.

- Location: out of town, but very walkable (10 mins) allow for gorgeous sunsets from the balconies - Staff: the highlight of this hotel - Rooms: Could need to freshen up in the near future (nothing catastrophic there, but nothing inspiring) - Overall: Nice place to stay

We stayed two nights at the hostel, it is a wonderful place to be. The stuff is really nice and the breakfast is everything you need. We also took dinner in the hostel and it was delicious. the location is a bit up the hill but they have a great shuttle to the entrance to Petra.

Great hostel, not quite in the downtown area, but the views were great and the rooftop restaurant was lovely. Staff were really good too. Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 day stay here. Rooms were very comfortable for the price. Thoroughly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rocky Mountain. There was a shuttle to take us to and from the park and otherwise the taxi ride was only 3JD. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast, not to mention the view while eating it, was fantastic. I will stay here again!

Excellent communication. Picked up as soon as in Petra. Free shuttle to site. Amazing view of petra. Great food. One of the best budget hotels I have ever stayed in.

Great hostel with a great breakfast. A little bit further away from the main drag, but worth the views.

Great place, just out of town. We had a hire car so was ideal for us. If you do stay here make sure you do the Turkish Bath - it was awesome!

It's a great place with nice staff and a beautiful roof terrace / seating area. It's good value for money, the room was very clean and cozy. Only problem is the internet, which is not available in the rooms, only in the lobby and it quite slow. The location is fine, however, if you want to go to the visitor entrance for Petra you have to have your own car or take a cab, but the hostel staff will answer all your questions and explain everything you need to know. We had a great stay!

We were staying there only one night, because we were heading to Wadi Rum dessert the next day. The lady owner was very helpful, after staying camping in the dessert without the shower she let us use the showers on the way back from wadi rum when we stopped by to continue Petra-sightseeing. Amazing Majlis , nice breakfast, window view and we were given so many usueful advices, definitely recommended!!!

Very clean rooms, great value and location! The bathroom is small but clean, and one of the few places with warm water for showering. The terrace/lounge upstairs is lovely, decorated in a traditional bedouin style with a beautiful view of the city and of Petra. The complimentary breakfast is comprehensive and quite nice: fresh cooked omelet, hummus, jam, local olive oil, coffee and tea. The staff is friendly--Jane is so helpful and actually cares about each one of her guests! She is awesome!

I don't think you'll find a better hotel in Wadi-Musa than Rocky Mountain. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay here. Jane, the manager, was kind and very helpful. She packed lunches for us for our day trips to Petra, drove to Petra early in the morning, and, on our last day, made breakfast for us at 5.40am as we had a bus to catch to Wadi-Rum at 6. Highly recommended.
