The main asset of this hostel is the staff, incredibly helpful and informative. Our room was disappointing- it had a blue netting as a curtain which was pointless and the whole hostel creaked so loudly when anyone moved. hence we were kept up at night with the dorms on the top floor. the bathroom was filthy and had to wait ages to actually get in it. there was no ventilation so after several people having showers the ceiling was dripping water all over u.

It was a lovely place and Lorna and the others were very helpful. The kitchen was clean and user friendly too with a standard breakfast of bread and jam. One thing though, the house cat did come into the room a couple of times during the day (and night!) so make sure you close the door properly! However the location is brilliant and good value for money and well worth a visit.

Friendly staff, although the owner did not speak English he was very happy to try and understand our very poor Spanish, he was very patient with us and once he understood us he was very helpful, currently there is an English speaking girl working there who was also very helpfull. Only downside was that there were a lot of people sharing one bathroom.

We love this place! It is family run and the family is wonderful. Frankly, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at...but don't come here if you're looking to party or be rowdy. You'll ruin it for everyone.

Lucas and Carla, the owners, are the best people, they are very kind and hardworkers. They make your stay in Bariloche be very pleasant. The Wi-Fi sometimes didnt' work and the computer was old, but the hostel was incredible. I totally recommend it
