Lovely place to stay in a great location, friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Great atmosphere and a very homely feel.

The price and location really can't be beat. The staff was really sweet and always asked if we needed anything. Unfortunately after years of travel, I've realized (grown up?) that the cheapest option isn't necessarily what's for me. There were far too many people to the bathroom and no hot water. I guess it depends on your priorities.

Small hostel in a really good location. The hostel was not full when we were there, but I guess in summer it can become pretty crowded. The stuff is super friendly but their English is not good, which makes it hard do talk to them.

The staff at Roger's House make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Mario Albert and Pietro are really friendly and make sure that you have everything you need, The Hostel is easy to find and the majority of locals will help you find your way. What the hostel lacks in size it more than makes up for in character and friendliness. Every night they prepare dinner and you can eat with them for a small fee (around €5). They organise evening entertainment too. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

localization is great! just walk few minutes and you can arrive at the points principals. The hostel seemed a university residence, you will have a minimum of comfort. the bathrooms are a bit small and dirty. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful, and if you want to meet people while traveling, this hostel is ideal. But you will not have any luxury.

My friend Andi and I had a lovely stay at this hostel. Albert was super friendly at the front desk- and was always willing to help us with directions to places. Mario made us DELICIOUS paella and Sangria, and was just a total sweetheart in general. Saturday night they took us out dancing/drinking in bars. It was such a fun time! My only complaints about the hostel are that the 6 bed rooms are a little cramped and my mattress was waaay too flimsy. That's all though!

Staying at Roger's House was awesome. It's a cozy place and located in the heart of the culinary amazingness that is San Sebastián. Albert, Mario, and Pietro are stellar hosts. I've stayed in many hostels over the past few years and these guys make it something special. They really want you to have a good time and feel at home while there. If they're not cooking dinner one night they'll show you around town. You'll meet great people while there too, guaranteed!

Excellent location with lots of great bars nearby. it was really annoying constantly being told to be quiet after 10:30 and there needs to be more bathrooms. It was a fun hostel and easy to meet people and we had a good time...might try a different one next time I'm in San Sebastián.
