A family-owned structure that from December changed the management.
Roman and Italian is located on Via Emanuele Filiberto 161, in the middle of the famous Holy Triangle of the most important churches in the Imperial Rome area : San Giovanni in Laterano Church, Santa Maria Maggiore and Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. It is a perfect solution for all travellers that want to visit Rome and to be in the town center at the same time.
Roman and Italian is in a very strategic position: it is only 10-15 minutes from the Colosseum and the archeological areas, only 300 metres from San Giovanni in Laterano Church and just two underground stops (Line A - the red one) from the Termini Railway Station.
It is near to the most important monuments of the city:

B&B ROMAN AND ITALIAN II° Via La Marmora (VITTORIO EMANUELE SQUARE)
Aimed to satisfy the many requests of our customers, since March 2011, our guests will have available new rooms, all recently renovated, comfortable, furnished with care and very quiet! ( NO A/C)
B&B Roman and Italian II° is also located in the historical area of Esquilino in the centre of Rome.
In an elegant period palace we can offer our guests a room wih private bathroom and two bedrooms with a common bathroom.
For reaching the city centre there is the underground line A (stop at VITTORIO EMANUELE), whose station is located 100 meters from the main entrance of our B&B.
The central railway station is within a walking distance (10 minutes) as well as the Colosseum, San Giovanni and Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.

Pros: Very well located (directly infront of the metro station, in walking distance of supermarkets, city center / trainstation), nice+clean room (with tv + air condition), very friendly staff, enlarged italien breakfast (with fresh baked croissant, bread, jam + a very delicious coffee) Little Cons: lound sourrounding (lots of traffic infront of the window), sleeping with open windows is not possible, shared bathroom, room+shower are basically clean and ok but not perfectly (mold in the shower)
