Marco was really helpful. He speaks good English so there was no issue with the communication. Rooms were clean. However sometimes its difficult to reach him.

The place is located very close to the main station, which is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shared bathroom and WC was however not very clean and well kept. The breakfast is offered in the nearby cafe run by the owner. It was nice.

Marco and the location were tops. Our family room also spacious. This hostel could be even better with a good floor and bathroom clean and enough cooking and eating gear for the number of people including spoons, cups and glasses and some better pans. It was surprisingly quiet for the location and shower was hot. Good heating, bedding clean. Some beds need upgrading. Breakfast delicious but light on for a big day of walking. As it's an apartment with 4 rooms it's pretty quiet.

This hostel was basically just an apartment -- so when they say one bathroom, they mean one bathroom! However, we were out and about most of the day, so we had no issues with this. The apartment had great heating and we felt safe. Its location a block from the Termini Station made it so easy to get anywhere in the city, because the regular buses all stop there, as well as the airport bus. Marco was great at recommending routes and restaurants. Breakfast at the cafe was easy and delicious, too!

We stayed at the hostel 3 nights. The location is perfect - just few steps away from the main Termini station, which was great for me as I had to catch the bus from the airport at 4 a.m. We went walking wverywhere, you can also catch a bus or metro there. Marco (the owner) is an absolutely amazing guy, when we had any problems he was immidately there to help us. The breakfast was great as well. You get towels and a map of the city with some tips from Marco. Good place to stay in Rome :)

Marco is very nice and showed us everything we needed in Rome. The breakfast was delicious!!! The only negative point is that there is only one bathroom for all rooms, so it gets busy.

Marco and his staff is very nice. The room is unexpectedly very big and very good. It is more like a home :) Marco even give us an extra breakfast for our non-stay friend!

Absolutely loved staying here. Beautiful hostel with very friendly staff. Short ten-minute walk to Colosseum and Roman Forum. Breakfast was delicious and all for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This was in a great location, very close to Termini (the main train and bus station), the staff were very polite and helpful, giving us tips and directions. The facilities could have used some work, there was no toilet paper and no soap in the bathroom.

Host met us at the hostel location and was very helpful with recommendations. Rooms were clean and located in a good area.

The main address shown on the ad should be the bar's and not where one of the rooms is located. It would be easier to find, especially when our flights get delayed and we can't arrive on the expected time

A very basic stay. Friendly and helpful staff on arrival and through emails. More equipment in kitchen would have been useful. Place could be cleaned better. Over all an ok stay.

Such a great place to stay! When you arrive you'll be greeted by Marco who is very warm and welcoming. He makes your stay feel like home. As a bonus, the hostel is walking distance from Termini which means you're close to everything you should need in case of an emergency. This also makes it easy to see all of the main sites. Very clean and highly recommended! You won't regret your stay :)

The good- marco really friendly and helpful. Location Good & the breakfast nice. The bad- we did not like this hostel. With only a fan, no air conditioning and minimal air flow we didnt sleep at all because of the heat. We had to open window and are now covered in bites. The one shared bathroom was dirty, there was no hand towel or soap. and security was poor. The spare room keys were left in common area for anyone to take and get into our room! We left a day early to get some sleep elsewhere.

Owner Comment (Hide)
basically your review written about something that never happened. You lament the lack of security but it never happened. see a couple of keys on the table does not mean that someone is an affront to your life. We have no air conditioning and this is specified otherwise would not find such a low price like ours.
