Really nice rooms, for those who want to have some privacy during the stay in Rio. Ron himself is friendly and helpful, and seems genuinly intrested that his guest are okay. The rooms are clean and have all the necessities. We have no complaints for our five night stay.

We got really lucky finding this hostel. The location couldn't be better particularly when you compare it to the prices of the nearby hotels. The owner Ron was very helpful with his recommendations and was always very responsive. The bathroom was very clean as well. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Location of the apartment is great, very safe, clean and comfortable. The people living in the building were very friendly. Made even better by Ron who is super helpful and made an effort to give us any advice we needed for the city including activities, nightlife, and transport. If I visit Rio again I know where I'm staying.

definetly the best budget place to stay in rio. it is in the center of arpoador, 5 mins to copacabana, 5 mins to ipanema. and the owner, ron s the man... he helped us a lot. he came with a map showing the turistical and non-turistical attractions, restos etc. thanks ron...

We feel so lucky to have found Ron Rio Flats. The apartment was immaculate, fully stocked with everything we needed, and perfectly located between the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The building is very safe as well. What really made our stay fantastic, however, was Ron. Ron is the ultimate host and, upon our arrival, he had a variety of brochures for us and a map that he had already marked out with all of the things and places we needed to see and do while in Rio de Janeiro. We will be back!

Very basic, but perfect for a few days in Rio. Good location, with secure entrance. Also Ron is a very good host, been very helpful with information and advice. Would definitely recommend to other travelers who are looking for a budget accommodation.

Ron was great as was his hostel. Hostel was clean, comfortable and perfectly located. The surrounding area was a nice safe and comfortable atmosphere. Being three blocks from the center of both beaches we were able to walk and explore with no problems. The great thing about the hostel was that it made us feel like we belonged versus that tourist feel you get from the hotels. We had restaurants, laundry service and grocery stores all around us. I highly recommend RonRioFlats.

PERFECT! This is like staying in your own apartment in Rio, not like a hostel at all. Booking process was easy and Ron (the owner) personally emailed us to make sure he arranged the apartment as we needed. Great communication from Ron, friendly, and super helpful - made us feel very welcome! The apartment itself is excellent, a small studio but it has everything you need. Everything worked, and everything was clean. Hot showers, your own kitchen, clean and nice beds, towels, etc etc! Fantastic!

The room was much nicer than we'd expect even from an expensive hotel, the location is excellent (a few minutes walk from Copacabana and Ipanema), and Ron was very helpful in providing advice and materials for seeing the city.

Ron was super helpful for us before, during and as we were leaving Rio. Had a great stay. Thanks again for everything.
