Good enough. Don't get excited about the free parking, there's only about 8-10 spaces. No complaints though.
Good location with bus just across the road to central station.A lot of people live here to work so not really a party place or place to meet people. Place is kept clean but common area just looks like a smoking shed it's horrible. Kitchen facilities are good but all pots pans etc are kept in the room so a lot of stuff to carry upstairs to cook. Would definitely stay here again though
Location in Glebe is really good, its a nice area indeed! Hostel is mainly for longterm stayers so I wouldnt recommend it to a packbacker who is just visiting the city as it is missing the traveler hostels feeling and common spaces that have a meaning for a packbacker. Free laundry and dryer is a big plus!
Amazing service, great atmosphere and loved the rooftop terrace, wish I could have stayed longer :)
Staff didnt have any clue about the goings on within the hostel this place was crazy at night and it was'nt staffed at night , room was a kip floors always dirty and room was always noisey , common room was locked early at night , no interaction here at all for a solo
Value for money. Very conveniently located with a beautiful neighbourhood. Bus ride to central station arrives about every 5 min. Shared a room with 2 Irish and an Aussie dude both easy going and friendly. Thanks to Bruno and the staff for the hospitality. Cheers! - From Singapore
This hostel is a good example of "you get what you pay for." It's cheap, has a good location and the rooms are well-equipped. Bruno the manager was quite friendly and helpful but my room (a four bed mixed dorm) was filthy (especially the shower) and the rooftop kitchen had such a greasy floor from lack of mopping that I nearly fell over. The majority of the guests are long-term workers and there's not a proper social area to hang out (the basement is pretty dingy). You can do better
Well located backpack (near the train station, and we can even go the center by feet if we have the time) with a very friendly staff. Considering the price, I didn't expect a lot about the Rooftop lodge, but then I was really happy about it. The dorms are comfy with tv, even a fridge ! Totally value for money . I recommend this place to all others backapckers

Hope laundry operating hour can be pasted on the laundry door and mention whether what happen when the laundry close, either all machine will be off or not and whether the staff will help to start the machine tomorrow morning or not. Room service is never happen to room 330 during my staying for 6 nights there. Bed is very clean. love it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great that the hostel has a lot of travel information and discount. Free laundry is the best but too peak.

Free wifi and laundry, clean rooms, friendly staff and the perfect location for exploring Sydney! The hostel is lacking a bit of atmosphere, as the common area is not too inviting, but the rooms are among the best I've ever stayed in, with en suite, fridge and a TV! They are large and relatively quiet at night, so ticked all the boxes for me! The rooftop terrace has gorgeous views over CBD, but the kitchen is a bit shabby. Great transport link into town. Would definitely stay there again!
