As I unfortunately found out too late, this is the place if you wanna stay longterm in Sydney while spending as little as possible on accommodation. The place seems to be an old hotel or hospital, as the rooms have integrated bathrooms, TVs and even fridges. The rooftop terrace itself is pretty spacious and is a good location for the kitchen, but don't expect any jaw-dropping views--most of it is blocked by trees, and you can't see that much anyway, since you are in Glebe, not downtown.

The best place I've stayed. It was a great deal. Not too far from central, so no need to worry about the location. And the staff are the most helpful and friendly ones. With free laundry, air conditioner, free internet and computer and two fridges in the room, this hostel is much more generous than almost all the others in Sydney. Also, I got a new pillow when I stayed there.I'm not sure if your are as lucky as I am, but it's definitely not a run-down place.

I think this hostel suits backpackers who are working its somehwere that you can live not jst stay. I was amazed at the fact you get your own ensuite per room and small kitchenette. The main kitchen is a bit small can could do with some more uptodate facilities but other than that its in a great location and the i would reccommend to any one looking for cheap accomodation.
