About Roots Reggae House
Real groovy guesthouse and Pub on Had Mae Rampeung Beach, between Rayong and Ko Samet in Thailand.
Near Bangkok and very chilled and quiet, few International tourists.
Our rooms are cheap and comfortable. Prices vary from 100 to 400 baht (2 to 8 Euros),
The Roots Bar plays hip hop, dancehall, reggae with a pool table, smoking chicha, games and friends
Access is easy from Bangkok to Rayong (2 hours by bus) and the area is very quiet and unknown to international tourists. The beach is usually deserted on weekdays except for a few fishermen...local tourism is visible on some weekends.
As well as reggae decorated rooms, Roots also has other attractions such as Chicha, Backgammon, bicycles... and can arrange local excursions to elephant farms, fruit farms, temples, fishing spots, waterfalls and more.
Room rates are very low for the quality of accommodation on offer. Air conditioning is not provided.
