Pretty grungy looking part of downtown. Rosa's is a very old building. Air conditioner was a loud beast but it worked. Room was clean, but this is a bare-bones cheap place to sleep and nothing else. Breakfast was a disappointment - stale peanut butter and white bread with a non-working toaster. If you just need a place to sleep and get out of town, this works, but don't expect any amenities.

Friendly, welcoming, easy going, right off main street, helpful advice on nightlife and getting to next place. Lots of tv channels :-)

The problem is noise. The family that runs the hotel are magnificient but the noise from the juke joint next door is horrid. This poor honest family has no control over this. This has been caste upon them, I feel, by a greedy politician the Rt Hon John August, Jr, Mayor of the city. T he noise is unacceptabily loud. It must exceed 194 dB
