Cheap and cheerful accomodation in what is a very expensive town to stay. Great for a night out when you just need a bed to stay afterward. Everything worked, and was clean. Dont expect the ritz this is more like a hostel or low star BnB. Perfect for my needs and happy with my stay. Would stay again.

Feels just like staying at your granny's house (an Irish Granny anyways). I was a bit skeptical reading the negative reviews, but I don't feel they are justified. As someone who usually stays in hostels, this place was lovely - felt right at home. But if you're used to hotels etc, you may want to look for one of those instead!

For 46,- Euro per room much too expensive. Nothing was cleaned. The rooms are ok, but also not clean.

It's not the Ritz but it does the job, reasonably good value and location. Kinda like staying in someone's house.

Cottage and mainly the kitchen were very dirty, cables hanging loose from the ceiling, dark and it was badly maintained. we were the only two people staying there, which gave us an unsafe feeling. Moreover nobody knew we had booked in the first place. Would not recommend this guesthouse to anybody, even when you are travelling on a budget. There must definetly be better options to stay in Kilkenny.

It is located 2 minutes away from kilkenny town, it's very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly, and it is good value. As it's not right in the middle of the town, you get a good nights sleep.

Bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the open fire was great. Was a full house so no hot water by time I got out of bed. But you can just turn on the immersion. Other then that no complaints. Some negative comments on here are very harsh. Excellent value considering the price. You get what you pay for. If your lucky you might even get a bit of craic out of the other guests in the common room when heading out / having a few drinks before hand.
