Staff are very nice far from the termini station, but facilities are not good enough especially the Wi-Fi network. The breakfast is not impressive.

We requested/booked a private twin room however, there was one double bed and a single bed in the room. This would not have been an issue but the single bed was not made up - it was stripped and unclean. Location was quite good (a different building to the main reception area) with a short walk to the Colosseum and friendly staff.

The rooms are clean but the facilities are old and not that great for what you pay. The internet connection is not too good and the breakfast is just cereal. Fix the shower, don't mention there's breakfast so people don't expect more from the hostel. Advise that you have to check in at a time theres staff people there. There is no sign or anything outside to identify the hostel. The internet doesn't work very well the internet doesn't cover the place good enough to reach all the rooms

We traveled a lot during our stay, so we did not spend much time in the hostel. That being said, this hostel provided us with adequate means to stay. + No curfews on when to return to the room. + Its location is perfect. + We were given delicious chocolate eggs each day :) I would strongly suggest the visitors to check in during the day, because the reception does not work in the late evening.

We were in Rome for 3 days and booked our stay originally at the Rose Guesthouse. Because of capacity constraints we had to stay in the Maison de Julie. It was a very good Hostel. Location is really close to the Fontana di Trevi and the Monumento Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II and all other important places in only 10 min walking distance. Rooms and bathroom were very clean, breakfast was in a café nearby and the café latte was very good. I can highly recommend that place :)

Cheap, secure accommodation in the heart of Rome. Nice bathroom and plenty of hot water. Basic breakfast and spartan rooms (cleaned daily). Small kitchen is the only communal area and the only "entertainment" is a bookcase of old guidebooks. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very good value if you're just looking for somewhere to crash out after a full day/night out in Rome.
