Te Papa Museum, Historic Cable Car, Cuba St, Wellingtons Waterfront, Restaurants of every cuisine and the exceptional nightlife of Courtenay Place are all on our doorstep. Start your day with our free breakfast of cereals, toast, tea and coffee and on Wednesdays enjoy home made soup in Winter or in Summer congregate on our outside deck and devour our yummy sausages in the weekly sausage sizzle.
We have full kitchen and laundry facilities, free DVD's and videos, a piano and a reading room for all to enjoy. Avail yourself of our internet (1/2 hour per day) and check in with friends back home.
Warm duvets are provided-sleeping bags are not required and our funky, green shower facilities are spotless.

This was my first hostel i stayed at so i waited until i stayed at some more before reviewing it. Pro's: Everyone was great, a real sense of community there with the long termers. The common area is great and so is the tv room. The atmosphere is what makes it, it is clean enough, nothing spectacular but it didn't feel dirty. Staff was cool, only cons were the internet but the library is a short walk away for free internet.
