Directions to Rossio Hostel

Getting here:

'Praça do Rossio' is one of the most famous Plazas in all of Portugal as it is in Lisbon city center, BAIXA, (downtown), therefore, you'll find it easy to get transportation from anywhere in the city.

- From Lisbon Airport:
30 min. Bus 44 or 745, (€1,55), or
20 min. 'Aerobus' 91 (€3,5) (runs from 7:40a.m. to 8:45p.m.), or
15 min. Taxi (€10/15) (depends on the hour and day of the week- ask for receipt)
and get off at Praça do Rossio.
Our street -Calçada do Carmo- has two money exchanges at the corner, the hostel is in the FIRST BLOCK, secound door, on the right, door number is 6
Go up to the second floor right door. You are at Rossio Hostel!

(if you come by taxi from the airport get off at Praça do Rossio at 'Cafe Nicola' and in one minute walking in the direction of the statue (in Cafe Nicola's same side) we are on the first street left, just in front of the statue.)

- From Santa Apolónia Train Station:
5/8 min. Metro (€1,55), take Blue line direction Amadora Este; exiting at Restauradores. Inside the metro station, follow the signs towards Rua 1 de Dezembro and D. Pedro IV Rossio. Our street -Calçada do Carmo- has two money exchanges at the corner, the hostel is in the FIRST BLOCK, secound door, on the right, door number is 6
Go up to the second floor right door. You are at Rossio Hostel!
You can also take a taxi or bus from the train station to our hostel:
10 min. Bus 9, 47, 746, or 759 (€1,4), or
10 min. Taxi (+/-€6 - ask for receipt),
and if you come by taxi get off at Praça do Rossio at 'Cafe Nicola' and in one minute walking in the direction of the statue (in Cafe Nicola's same side) we are on the first street left, just in front of the statue.

- From Gare do Oriente Train Station:
20 min. Metro (€1,55). Take the Red line to Alameda, then change onto the Green line to the direction Cais do Sodré, exiting at Rossio.
After exiting the metro station you are at Praça do Rossio. Then our street -Calçada do Carmo- has two money exchanges at the corner, the hostel is in the FIRST BLOCK, secound door, on the right, door number is 6
Go up to the second floor right door. You are at Rossio Hostel!

- From Sete Rios Train Station / Bus terminal:
20 min. Metro (€1,55). Take the Blue line direction of Santa Apolónia and get off at Restauradores.
