A home away from home. Apart from the perfect location and infraestructure, it was the staff that made the difference. I didn't have the chance to meet them all, but Sandro always willing to help, the absolutely lovely Elsa and Nelsi, awesome Silvia and Patricia and beautiful Francisca with her tireless smile, made it really difficult to leave. This place is one of the things that you discover traveling that puts a big smile on your face. Coming back soon!

Best hostel I have ever stayed in! Wonderful staff, very clean, safe, and the location could not be any better (so close to train station AND metro)! If I ever make it back to Lisbon, I will most definitely stay at the Rossio Hostel!!

Very well located, the reception guys are very friendly and ready to help. The breakfast is always the same, but is good, the kitchen and wifi are nice.

Such a nice place! The staff were so friendly and helpful! Breakfast in the morning is delicious. The location is a nice walking distance to Barrio Alto and other tourist locations. I would definitely recommend this hostel!

Very convenient location! Walkable to most major sights and public transports (tram to Belem or train to Sintra) are within 100m walk. I absolutely loved the pancake breakfast so much! Clean rooms and toilets. Only issue is with the shower temperature takes a bit of getting used to. Locker Lock provided free. Towel free. Drop them an email or something if you arriving late eg. midnight and someone will wait for you. Streets are full of drugs peddlers just ignore them.

In general we were very pleased about our stay. One thing that could be better is the breakfast, as there was not that much variety (every morning pancakes or scrambled egg). This could very easily be improved, by adding some of the delicious fruits available, or some yoghurt, and hup, it makes an excellent breakfast.

Best hostel in Lisbon

Excellent place to stay!! Best location in the heart of Lisbon. Just watch out for the "fake drug" dealers on the streets

An amazing hostel in an amazing city! The staff gave us great advice such as to go to the tuesday flee market and to a good viewpoint of the city. The pancakes for breakfast were top notch as well! Would recommend the hostel to anyone wanting to explore Lisbon cheaply and comfortably :)

Prime location, friendly and efficient staff. My twin private had a gorgeous view of Rossio Square with the Alfama on the background. Good breakfast and very clean facilities. Be warned that the reception closes from late night to early morning, so plan your arrival accordingly. Make sure to get the tutorial on how to operate the showers - hot water is readily available but there are some tricks that must be learned beforehand. I would gladly stay at this hostel again.

Really nice hostel (more like a hotel tho)! Everything was great-the rooms, the decor, the facilities. The staff were very helpful and approachable! Breakfast was amazing and there was a really nice atmosphere 😃 the stairs was the only annoying thing but other than that id definitely be recommending it 😃

In many hostels in lisboa, there is no second escape way in case of a big fire. Also, in the rossio hostel that's the case. A bit frightening if you stay on the top floor. A nice staff, nice atmosphere and interieur does the rest

Stayed in the ensuite for 3 guest absolutely beautiful. Location is great. But yes lots of stairs and staff isnt very prepared or knowledgeable with things to do in Lisbon. But they are super nice.

I've loved my stay at Rossio Hostel. After having experimented in the same city a party hostel and a higher class one, I thought this one to be a perfect middle term. It has a nice common room, with a tv projected on giant screen ; people interact with each other ; but not too much emphasis is put in community life and activities. The locker is included, and I found the facilities to be proper to what I needed. The location of course is great.
