The BEST hostel I have ever stayed in...very relaxed and feels like a home away from home. Very clean and staff are so friendly will definately be back again. All the finer details like padlocks, free towels, eggs or crepes for breakfast, free internet. definately have thought of everything. It was similar to a hotel stay for me, and meet some fantastic people on my week stay there. We had a great time at Rossio. They have events planned every night which was was a great way for travellers to meet each other. The only downfall of staying there was lifting our suitcases up and down all those stairs!We had a great time at Rossio. The Rossio Hostel has raised the bar and I doubt I will find another hostel that will be as good. I loved the character of the old building and that it was maintained and kept up so well. The staff was amazing anywhere from great suggestions on things to do to the delicious warm breakfast cooked to order each morning. Terrific location but the space can be cramped. The staff are very friendly and helpful; they are flexible about the rules but able to enforce them at the same time. Breakfast is moderate but available and can be had before the official start time of 8am. Somewhat noisy at night but not a big deal unless you are a light sleeper. Computer access is free, fast, and the kitchen is weel kept and available anytime both day and night. Terrific location but the space can be cramped. We had a great time at Rossio hostel. The staff were very nice and helpful (gave us lots of advice on what to see and how to get there). They cooked us excellent breakfast every morning. Great hostel and helpful staff. the movie we watched was average but everything else could not be faulted. Funky decor and great breakfast.
