Excellent location, just a minute away from the Aerobus that takes you directly to the airport and from the Airport. Breakfast was fantastic, specially if u are crepe lover. Staff is nice and kitchen, common room and bedrooms are new and clean! You don't need to clean the dishes after your breakfast :)

This is the best Hostal I have ever been! Not only the Location is great, but also the staff is superfriendly and everything was very clean and new...They also offer special bar crawls or fado-tours which take you really to the best places in town and are not the touristy ones...so if you want to discover Lisboa a little underground....join these tours!!! It was a very great stay, and hopefully not my last one! Thank you!!! :D

Pros: Contemporary decor with bright colors, such clean rooms and bathrooms, wonderful helpful staff, breakfast is included and the cook was so nice to everyone, good location in Rossio square and close to transportation, internet access with 3 computers in common area. Cons: No lift up the 8 flights of stairs but that wasn't a problem. This place is great and I don't have anything bad to say.

I really enjoyed staying here. one of the best hostels I've been too. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Events such as the pub crawl and going to see tradional Portuguese music held there were very enjoyable and the atomsphere there was very relaxed and homely. Rooms were spacious and clean and the location of the hostel is second to none with the Rossio on its doorstep.

Had a great 4 days here; very comfortable, chilled and homely feel to the place with very friendly helpful staff. They run regular events which included a great Fado night at a local bar in the old town. Very clean everywhere and the bathrooms spacious with good showers. Impressive breakfasts for a hostel; scrambled eggs or pancakes plus cereals. Very central however be aware if you get a room facing the square it will be reasonably noisy. Good firm beds too.

Love this hostel, every thing is same as photos shown! I stayed in a private double room and the room is so big and nicely furnished! Like a hotel. The share bathroom is very clean and can lock, so it's kinda private :) The only thing...quite hard to change though is that there is no lift...quite hard to move big & heavy luggage up to the 5th floor (where my room locate), but it's still fine, the staff is so kind to give a hand, but I feel sorry when i ask for help. Will definitely stay again!

This is a fantastic hostel! Having stayed at over a half-dozen hostels in Lisbon, I can definitely say this is one of the best. The location just off Rossio Square offers easy access to everything, and the dorms are spacious and clean. The staff is wonderful, especially Lydia, the lovely chef who's been with Rossio Hostel since it opened in 2007 and who greets guests each morning with the question "which would you prefer: scrambled eggs and toast or pancakes with chocolate?" Wonderful!!!

This hostel is great. It's probably the best hostel i've ever been to. Extremely clean and secure. It's in most turistic and central part of Lisbon (5 min away from the metro). I recommend it to everyone!

The location was excellent! It was so close to the centre of Lisbon. In the morning (8\9am), I can just walk to the San Justa elevator in less than 5mins and I was the only person on top to view the beautiful city. Staff was very friendly. Security is great, too! Love the deco of the hostel, esp the lounge area. Will definitely return and stay for a longer period when I next visit Lisbon.
