This hostel was amazing: The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great (and with good hours), the night time activities were fun and not touristy, and the beds were very comfortable. I really felt at home. The biggest problem was some of the other guests were inconsiderate, but other than that, Rossio Hostel gets my full recommendation.

Place was nice and location excellent. Staff was helpful and really nice. We had just one small problem during friday and saturday night. Those nights we were awaked up several times by people coming in to the rooms late, drunk and quite noisy. I understand people drinking and having fun, but I think the hostel is not the proper place to continue with "the party".

Amazing staff - sociable, great at given travel and sightseeing advice. Great hostel activities in the evening. Good good breakfasts from the sweetest women. Perfect location in the middle of the city. Great view from room. Just added the bit of homeliness and cosyness to our weekend trip. Can only recommend it!

This is a really cool, laid back hostel. The staff were full of really helpful advice about Lisbon. The hostel has a different activity every night, which is a great way to meet people. Good breakfast, comfy beds and great location. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

The building the hostel is located seems a little run down from the outside, but don't let that deceive you! The hostel is great and has modern decorations and is very clean. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals, and they provide breakfast each morning for free. The street outside was a bit noisy at night and it was pretty chilly inside, but those were pretty minor things. Staff was very friendly and everything was great!

Amazing! The people are so friendly and helpful, the view from my window was a breathe-taking view of Lisboa and the famous landmarks there. The room had a heater, was clean, and very comfortable/welcoming. The bathroom felt like home to me with a hair dryer and clean environment. The price of the hostal was reasonable and there were always events going on. They even cooked breakfast for us on the house. I will absolutely return in the future and wish that every hostal was like Rossio!

Very convenient location; right in the centre of town with easy access to sights and nightlife. The airport-bus (Aerobus) stops right outside and a major train station is very close too. Be aware there are several groups of drug-dealers operating in this area but these appear to be unavoidable in _all_ of central Lisbon, 24 hours a day. The hostel is clean and attractive inside. The staff were all extremely friendly, very helpful and organised daily activities and a great breakfast.

If you go in winter, the dorms are just a bit cold and there is a little draft.. otherwise everything is really cool in this Hostel. One of the best I've seen worldwide.

I had a great experience at the Rossio Hostel. This was the first time I've stayed at a hostel since my college days so I was a bit worried being a little older. Rossio convinced me to stay in hostels for all of my future travels. Everything was great - breakfast, rooms, staff, nightly events, etc. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Rossio

The location is really perfect! The hostel is just right at Rossio square, you don't really need to walk when getting off from the bus stop. The lady who makes breakfast for us was very friendly and she speaks good English. The hostel is very clean and they offer some good facility such as wireless, towels, beer, food,... The only setback probably is that the hostel is not very fun even though they organize movies night,... It's fine if you have friends/ partners to travel with anyhow.

All the staffs (including the receptionists, the kitchen lady and the cleaning maid) are very nice and helpful.

We arrived ta 6am and were´nt supposed to check in til 2 and they were SO accomodating, they let us sleep in their very nice lobby, gave us breakfast and helped us plan our trip for the next couple of days and use internet and store our bags. i would absolutely recommend this place and would make a reservation there any time i return to lisbon. great place!

Loved the cooked breakfast in the mornings!!! The girls on reception were really helpful but I didn't get the same feeling from the guy.

Thank you Rossio Hostel and all the lovely staff for a fantastic stay in Lisbon! I highly recommend this hostel to other visitors in Lisbon. The staff is very helpful and always happy. My room provided a million dollar view of the city which probably no hotel in the area could cater for! the rooms are spacious, clean, quiet and all the facilities are brilliant. Thank you Rossio and Patricia for a wonderful stay!!! I hope to see you again soon!
