Lovely place. Very charming, comfortable beds & helpful staff. Nice and close to the information center, and the hot tub was a nice bonus! Excellent value, one of my favorite hostels in New Zealand

It was very much in the central part of the town, with the Isite just down the road and plenty of activities that were easy to walk from the hostel. The dorm style was especially nice because instead of bunkbeds there were actual beds! It was very clean and the staff was very helpful and extremely friendly!

Great hostel with ubiquitous amounts of character and charm. Well stocked kitchen for all your culinary need, clean and tidy dorm rooms with no bunk beds, and central location. The couple who run this place are lovely and very helpful. I would recommend this hostel to any travelling looking for a place to rest their weary head.

I loved this hostel! Clean rooms and bathrooms. There's a hot tub though it's very hot (40C or so). The kitchen is large with lots of dishes to use, great recycling boxes. The staff is outstanding and helped us book discounted events, and had answers for everything. Paid internet. Very bright rooms to lounge in, close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Great hostel with some nice character about it. Rooms were nice (No bunk beds!) luckily my bed was right next to a bay window so i could wake up and look straight out of the window in the morning which is nice. Kitchen was good, the bathrooms were very clean and tidy and to top it off they have a free hot spa pool to use in the back of the building! Would stay there again if I was around this area for sure

I think the staff are doing mighty well. I noticed they give help to some of the travellers by giving them jobs -Nice! I just hope you guys continue to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and its utensils and the shower rooms. Thanks for making my night there comfortable.

Great sized bed. Small, but very well stocked kitchen. Very cheap internet. Nice outdoor seating area with clothes line and spa-pool. Just down the way from two big supermarkets. Well worth a visit if you're in Rotorua

Dining area needs to be looked at. Proper tables & chairs for a more freindly atmosphere and conversation with other guests. The breakfast bar arrangement with fixed seating looking straight at a wall was not good.

We stayed one night. The room was clean, as were the kitchen and showers. We found the number of stairs and doors a bit bewildering, and got 'lost' a couple of times! The laundry had 2 washing machines and dryers, and an iron and ironing board. The hostel is central to the town
