The hostel was a breath of fresh air. Great location, very charming staff, impressive facilities and very clean. I enjoyed my stay very much and would stay again.

I only got to stay for a night. Location is great because it's not a very long drive to Shannon Airport. The little town is fun to walk around in and has a selection of pubs within walking distance. The hostel was almost more like a hotel than your average hostel. Very together, quiet, clean, and suitable for all ages. But best of all was the dining in the Rowen Tree Café - best dinner salad I've ever had and the wine was great too!

Staff were very helpful, available, and friendly. The hostel is a very nice building, great location, and everyone knows where it is. Our room was spacious (we had a family), everything that we needed, the kitchen large, the dining room good, loved the coffee, wash facilities, and extra rooms. Would highly recommend.

I have stayed at the Rowan Tree every year on my annual tours of Ireland. That should tell you of my high opinion of this ouotstanding hostel. I recommend it to anyone I meet who is going near Ennis. JJK

The place was very hard to find. A GPS crossroads or coordinates would be helpful. We found the room to be very spacious but very bare. Perhaps a chair or little table, or hooks for coats. Soap dish in shower? Hardest beds in Ireland.

Would've been nice to have a place to park. Other than that, no complaints!

Really nice place, would stay here again for sure.. Staff is really helpful and the beds are great. As for the location, its easy to reach by car and the city centre is just over the bridge. Really good place!

Hostel was pretty good. I liked the rooms. Spacious, with comfortable beds. The kitchen and dining area were also really good. Lots of fridge space. The bathrooms were ok. There was no soap in the dispensers both days I was there, so it didn't seem like they were checking the bathrooms, and I found the showers weren't good. Push button showers, and the length of time the water stayed on was way too short. You had to constantly turn around to put the water back on

The staff was fairly friendly and helpful. They always had input on the best sites to see, pubs to go to, and places to eat. Thanks Brian for being so much help.
