Excellent hostel, Ennis is a cute little town! However its a bit out of the way, but the bus system was very efficient in getting to the major cities (galway, limerick, shannon airport). The hostel also provided a map for all of the pubs that played live irish folk music, which I would recommend. Excellent hostel, Ennis is a cute little town! This hostel was my favorite in Ireland! The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly! I have told several people about this hostel and encourage all to stay here. The Rowan Tree was honestly the best hostel I have stayed at. The staff were very friendly, the facilities were great and very well kept. It was really clean. It was also such a lovely location on the river. I enjoyed my time at the hostel very much and I would recommend it to anybody travelling to Ennis! Fantastic hostel, brand new, really clean. Aimee and Tracey were great. I loved Ennis and the trip to the cliffs of Moher was superb. This was an amazing hostel! I read the reviews before staying here and have to say it really was the cleanest hostel i've ever stayed in. I had loads of fun in Ennis and the trad session around the fire place was a bonus I wasn't expecting. Thanks to the staff for all the suggestions of places to visit while in Ireland.This was an amazing hostel! Rowan Tree Hostel is fabulous - great staff, super clean, perfect location, fresh brewed coffee with the included breakfast, and a cozy sitting room with a peat fire in the evening. Ennis is a lovely town and this hostel makes it an easy, affordable, and comfortable place to visit. I stayed on for nearly two weeks and will be going back soon to visit the wonderful people I met!
