The place was very hard to find. A GPS crossroads or coordinates would be helpful. We found the room to be very spacious but very bare. Perhaps a chair or little table, or hooks for coats. Soap dish in shower? Hardest beds in Ireland.

Would've been nice to have a place to park. Other than that, no complaints!

Hostel was pretty good. I liked the rooms. Spacious, with comfortable beds. The kitchen and dining area were also really good. Lots of fridge space. The bathrooms were ok. There was no soap in the dispensers both days I was there, so it didn't seem like they were checking the bathrooms, and I found the showers weren't good. Push button showers, and the length of time the water stayed on was way too short. You had to constantly turn around to put the water back on

The staff was fairly friendly and helpful. They always had input on the best sites to see, pubs to go to, and places to eat. Thanks Brian for being so much help.

This was one of our favorite hostels out of the 6 we stayed in in Ireland. Everything was clean, the staff was really friendly, and we really enjoyed ourselves and the surrounding town.

We got upgraded from 10-bed room to a private en-suite with a balcony at no extra charge, so our stay was that much better! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We recommend staying here.

The staff was great. I was going to a wedding and the guy who met me at the desk was very helpful. The kitchen in this hostel is AMAZING. Big enough to have everyone there at the same time and never get in anyone's way. Overall, was a good experience. The beds were really comfortable and I loved that our 6 bed dorm had its own ensuite.

Wow, Rowan Tree Hostel.... where do I begin? Maybe by the fact that the hostel is situated in a mansion by the river? That the people are lovely and the staff makes us feel like home? Or maybe that the breakfast is included and delicious? Or shall I say something about the amazing leather couches adn wooden staircases that makes us feel more in a three star hotel than a hostel? I really don't know... go there and see for yourself!

Well located right in town. Terrific friendly staff, large rooms, but very hard mattresses. Able to park just out the front in public parking free until 7am and can prepay the night before so u don't have to rush in the morning. .

I stayed here during the week, so perhaps it wasn't as 'happening' as it would be on the weekends. Very clean, excellent bathrooms, good breakfast. Downside is that you have to pay for lockers. Great hostel overall though.

Super nice! Right on the river too with great kitchen, great rooms and everything was so clean! Staff was cool too and made for good conversation (better than a lot of other hostels who treat people like wallets and not people).

The best hostel ever in my entire trip in Ireland. The staffs are incredibly nice and helpful. There were musicians playing beautifully for hours when I was there. Love this hostel. Will definitely come back and stay with Rowan Tree!!
