It would be great if they had some single rooms as I did not need a double but would have difficulty sleeping in a dormitory

We really enjoyed our stay at the hostel. The reception was very welcoming and information was clear. We felt very secure coming in and out. The place is well managed. We appreciated being able to access the hostel whenever it suited us, and our group were able to congregate there without inconveniencing anyone. Thanks to all.

It is a long time since I have stayed in a hostel and had some anxieties but I was delighted with the Rowan tree. Friendly, helpful staff, clean and tidy throughout. The location suited my needs perfectly being right near the town. I would recommend the Rowan Tree to anyone looking for very reasonably priced accommodation in Ennis.

Considering how nice this place was it's amazing it was so cheap. The location was what made the lasting impression though. :)

A great hostel, I wanted to stay longer. All hostel owner's should visit this hostel to find out how to manage their hostels.

This is THE BEST HOSTEL EVER! We were amazed at how artistic, CLEAN, comfortable, QUIET,and all the good qualities a hostel could ever have. We slept in a 8 bed/mix dorm with bathroom and it was super good, the matresses felt brand new, every bed had matching covers which made it hotel like, it was super clean, very secure there were camaras everywhere, the kitchen IS AMAZING, you get free-wifi, the dining area and lounge are super cool, plus you get 10% off in the restaurant next door.ENJOY!!

We spend 2 nights in this hostel and we are glad to choose this one, really good value for money and very clean. My friend just forgot her little giraf (toy) in the room, I hope if the staff had found it they will be nice with ''Ludivine The Giraf '' :-)

There is no better hostel in Ireland as The Rowen Tree. It feels more like a good hotel than a hostel. It is extremely well ran and it is great for both families, college age, middle aged because the way the dorms and ensuites are set up. I highly recommend it for anyone. We go to Ennis just to be able to stay at The Rowen Tree. Best regards.

Security isn't great, a drunk guy managed to come into our all girls room and make a mess in the bathroom after passing out on the bed ... But the staff are great and the place in well located and comfortable

The staff were really helpful and friendly . They went out of their way to be accommodating . The whole deal was excellent with free internet and international calls . I would highly recommend the hostel to anyone .

As always a pleasure to stay at the Rowan Tree. Great Italian restaurant connected to the hostel and generally great facilities.

We decided to stop in Ennis at the last minute to shorten our trip to the airport the following morning. The staff at Rowan Tree Hostel was great, they called and arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport early in the morning. We got a free upgrade which was nice, instead of a 6 bed room we ended up with a private room. The staff suggested a few pubs that offer live music and they didn’t let us down! I would definitely recommend Rowan Tree!

I would stay there again any day! I loved the cleanliness compared to some other hostels I have stayed in recently and the staff was great! I met so many great people, I can't wait to go back and visit!!! Thanks Rowan Tree!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Rowan Tree. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the local area/events. The hostel itself was very clean and in a great location. A good bargain for the price!

I loved staying at this hostel! The entire staff, including the night staff was amazing and so helpful with everything! It was clean and in a great spot in Ennis. I am so excited to come back and stay here again so I can have just as a fantastic time as I did this time around!

Absolutely the best hostel I've had the pleasure of lodging in! We had the dorm style room to ourselves most of the three days! Lovely! Nothing but positive words for you guys, keep it up!

This place is excellent! Very clean, great location, friendly staff. Informed upon arrival that we got a free upgrade to a large private room. Free wifi, lots of shopping and food very close, public parking lot right behind the hostel. Ennis was very nice and friendly - probably our favorite smaller city in the Republic. Beds were hard as a rock, but with everything else positive we could live with that.
