I really enjoyed my stay, and stayed an extra night just because it was so handy. Great value all round. Don't miss Michael Kerin's pub on a Friday night.

Best hostel we stayed at for amenities (phone, internet, breakfast, laundry), price (€16 per person per night), easy 24 hour entry, yet great security, very safe. Thought we were going to stay just one night, ended up staying four.

I was pleasantly surprised by how great this hostel was. It was cheap, but clean and in a great location. The staff was also very nice and helpful. The complementary breakfast and adjoining restaurant was great too. Would definitely go back if I find myself in Ennis again.

Marian and her staff were not only cordial and helpful, but remembered names, where people were traveling, and little things that had been shared, not only to us by several who came by the desk when we were there. That is exceptional service in my opinion. We had a very enjoyable stay both times.

Definitely one of the best hostel I've visited. The dorms are quite spacious and very clean with great bathroom. The staff is really helpful and the hostel well located in the center of Ennis. We'll definitely recommend this hostel.

Had a great short stay, staff where friendly, facilities where top class and probably had my best meal of the trip at the Rowan Tree Cafe/Bar. the pubs are top class and on your door step. Will be going back and recommend.

you could not ask for a better host than Mariann and Brian and the whole staff of the Rowan Tree Hostel. Mariann was most helpful in making our stay in Ireland. a success. We spent six weeks in Ireland celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary using Rowan Tree as our home base. This was our thrid time in Ireland and each time we have used the hostel as our main stay. What can I say but the Rowan Tree was GREAT !!!

Great atmosphere, excellent faciliies and friendly, helpful staff - we were there for the Etape Hibernia cycling event and the hostel had converted a room for secure bike storage, and provided early breakfast / cooking facilities on the day of the event. The Cafe bar is also excellent. Highly recommended.

It is the best hostel we've been in Ireland! The double room in which we stayed was lovely, really clean, comfortable and quite new! All the staff very kind and made us feel like at home! The kitchen and other common rooms were very good equiped. And for us it was a present to find the next-door restaurant, with excellent Mediterranian kitchen and very good prices! Thanks for all!
