The staff where really good. Family run business. The hotel was close to the station (so good on arrival) but a a little further away from the old city and the MI Road - but you can't have both! Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel manager and staff. 10min walk from the rail station but 45min walk to MI road (main road)...so just depends on where you want to stay. Good value, considering wi-fi is included.

The door to the hallway was locked from the outside at night time, which is a fire hazard. When the issue was brought up, the hostel manager didn't like the idea of changing procedures. There was no common area for people to hang out. The hostel manager also encourages guests to take tours with his rickshaw contacts who will waste your time and take you to textile and jewelry shops, despite saying that his rickshaw buddies wouldn't do that. I felt cheated.

The appearance of the hotel from the outside is great and the room was nice. A TV and the availability of room service was a real bonus for those nights when you just don't feel as sparkly. The owner was a very nice man and was willing to answer questions and help out where he could, booking tickets and tuk tuks. We highly recommend the tuk tuk driver Saldar, who was informative, unassuming and not at all pushy. He took us some more usual places and we enjoyed some peace in the big city.

We had a good stay, added a couple more nights too. Facilities were great, we had cable tv with movies and films, they offer room service at no extra charge too which was really handy after a long day's sightseeing. Only negative is that it's a bit far from the Old City but nothing a quick ride in a tuck tuck won't cure! Be careful of the drivers offering tours - haggle hard and make sure you know what's included in the price.

This is one of the \"best-value-for-money\" hostels I\'ve stayed in thanks to its quiet location near the train station and very attractive price with uncompromised facilities except that there\'s no WIFI.

Really pretty hostel, very clean. Shower was not hot though so it was cold for us in winter! Otherwise perfect.
