The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They lent me a bus card and city map and gave suggestions as to where to go in Lima and also booked my taxi to the airport. Really enjoyed staying there. If you want to visit Miraflores then from Ricardo Metro station turn right and walk a few blocks past the casino.

Owners are really nice but the ratings for this hostel are way too high for what it actually is. Its very small, no atmosphere and very basic. The location and price is good.

Pros: The staff. The owner actually brought us out to show us his favourite burger joint. Even more, he would help out with any question you have about his beloved city. I was very impressed by his enthusiasm and passion for Lima and the whole of Peru. Cons: The facilities. Since the owner was extremely generous and helping to me, I felt it was my duty as a backpacker to make a mention that I wish his facilities were on par with his hospitality. Overall: I'd come back just for the staff!

Very good hostel with incredible staff. I only stayed one night (stopover to catch a flight) but they welcomed me very early in the morning, let me sleep in a private room untli my dorm bed would be ready and finally let me stay in the private room for the price of a dorm bed to avoid complications. It was sooooo nice from them and I appreciated so much after 11 month of travelling from dorm to dorm!!!

I cannot fault this place whatsoever! Jesus and Javier, the brothers who run it are amazing, very helpful and friendly and give a 7-star service :) they go out of their way to help you whilst you stay with them. It´s always clean, it has decent faciilites and it´s all brilliant for the price you pay. They also have little kittens there at the moment and they´re fun to play with - would definately recommend staying here :)

The staff were great and really helpful, but we were disappointed with the cleanliness and atmosphere. We felt the hostel world reviews and ratings were deceiving and inaccurate.

At the end of the day, this is a place to sleep, store your stuff, hang out with some travelers, relax, and chill. From what I've noticed, all the hostels within and around Lima are very comparable in looks, style, cleanliness, and amenities. What makes this one in particular so outstanding for me was the host, Jesus. He genuinely cares about his guests and will do everything he possibly can to make sure that you have the best stay in Lima. I would DEFINITELY stay here again in the future!

Staying there felt like home :D The first day, we got food poisoned. Jesus and Javier really took care of us, helped us get medical care (near the hostel), and help us with everything. The hostel is a really nice place, great location: near Miraflores, near the metropolitano, close to the medical center (which was very important for us)... it is a quiet place, but no boring. The boys are REALLY interesting people, and they always have a smile and a fun conversation!

I'm afraid this is one of the only bad hostels I stayed in in south America. My private room was inside a dorm& the walls were plywood with big gaps so I could hear everything in the dorm and the room next door - I might as well have been in the dorm. There is one toilet/shower room for the entire floor, so I often had to wait. The shower was always cold. There is no communal area to relax in. The 3 positives are: the staff are very eager to help, the wi-fi is very fast& the location is good.

Jesus the manger helped us a lot and super nice, the place close to the center if you look for excellent place for good price this is the place... One more thing if you come with taxi from the airport don't belive to the taxi driver they lie about the place as they try to get a commission from other hostel

Great hostel. Jesus, the owner, can help you with anything and is a very nice guy. Lots of places to eat cheap (5-10 soles) and Miraflores district is right across the bridge.
