Great hostel. Amazing location and very friendly staff. Only downfall was most of the people staying there are the staff and they treat the rooms as though they are their bedrooms and visitors feel like they are intruding. They have their belongings scattered all over the room. Overall would definetely recommend! Great hostel. Amazing location and very friendly staff. If you're looking for a place with other travelers, this may not be the place for you. There are several "long-term" residents and they tended to be very clique-y. During our stay, one got drunk, threw up, and proceeded to choke on it at 3 am. Gross. The staff dealt with it quickly, though. Pros: free wifi, free tea/coffee, plenty of sockets in the room to charge your stuff, prime location, lockers in the rooms (no need to bring your own lock)

I really enjoyed my stay at the Royal Mile Backpackers: simple, low cost, friendly staff. everything I need when I'm on a vacation.
A minus point for the beds, because the mattrasses where pretty thin. Not really comfortable.
