Only stayed a night, but the location was perfect for a short stay. The rooms where fairly small for the amount of beds in them but security was good as you got your own locker. Bathrooms were also tiny and you generally had to wait as there was only one of them for all the dorm rooms.

The Hostel was in a great location, very easy to find. The staff were brilliant, very friendly. Also the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Being a small hostel it had a very nice cosy vibe. Would stay here again!

Very good location. Staff were very helpful. Room and bed with character. Hair dryer in toilet, good that I didn't need to afraid waking up my roommates. Kitchen was a bit small but warm as all people staying there chatting to each other.

The location is great, staff seems really nice, own lockers with tiny safety deposit boxes, hiring towels for only 20p... At first I thought that just two showers and two toilets for girls would pose a problem but I never had to wait too long. (More mirrors would be great, though!) The deposit for the key was either £10 OR an ID, which I found a bit strange. £10 is ok, but I, for one, have just one official ID and do not feel comfortable parting with it. So make sure you have cash with you!

I have a good time there, I have the opportunity to get to know other people because of some of their entertainment. Great!

The hostel was fine. It was clean, cheap and in a good location. I somehow managed to be in the only bed that didn't have a reading light and the kitchen was tiny, but other then that.. no complaints.

The place was very nice, in the center of the city close to the castle. People from the reception were always friendly when you ask them some advice for a trip or a good place to eat. The bed were very good. The toilets and the shower was always clean. You have place to put your stuff with a key cabinet and a small . For your breakfast you can buy some cornflakes and or lots of stuff. There is always somebody at the reception and you have a small safe in your wardrobe, so no problem for security

Just a brief stay - 10 pm until 8am but all was well and room mates considerate. This was my second visit and I enjoyed it.

chimney was nice, everything else was just ok for one might. I won't book that hostel again, nor will I recommend it. Bathroom too small, especially showers(!!) . Showers looked very much like s.th. improvised. Maybe the house/rooms are just not suitable for a hostel.

Just loved it!! Great location, in the main street of Edimburough. The staff is awsome, very nice, polite and fun! The rooms and the bathrooms are clean and the beds are comfy. They have lockers in the rooms and each one has a safe inside. Also, great place to meet people in their pub crawl. There's nothing that I didn't like!
