Had to pay $400 more than we were told. After double checking, we had to pay $20 less than we were told, weird.. We got to our room and got only 1 bed instead of 2. After complaining, we got another room, but were told to talk to the manager the next morning. No hot water. Next day, we were put in a room with 1 bed and a little bed on wheels (injured shoulder and neck after a week), the floor was crooked and weird smell. Staff was disinterested and we didn't feel welcome at all.

Excelllent location, one block from the metro station, next to wallgreens, 7eleven, mc donnalds, supermarket and restaurants. Close to central park. Very clean and comfortable rooms, they changed towels everyday and had the beat shower ever!! It's atmosphere is more of a hotel than of a hostell. My only complaint is about the wifi, that didn't work sometimes. I stayed there for 11 nights in a room for four, and would definitelly stay there again and recommend it. Very good stay!!

İ can say that it is really nice hostel. Everything was good. Hostel is really close to central park. Staffs are good. We put our luggage after checkout. We paid 2 dollars per luggae.

I have to say the this is not a hostel at all, it is a regular hotel. It is well located, just 3 block from central park. You can easily walk to natural museum and metropolitan one. The 5th avenue and times square are 45 minutes walking, the path could be long but is fun and interesting because there is a beautiful building in each corner of this city. Be aware that you are booking in a hotel, no hostel, nothing of shared areas or nice atmosphere. This hotel is a perfect and affordable option.

In my room has a Microwave oven and a Fridge, we left lots of food & Beer inside, but when we got back in evening before checking out date tomorrow, found that it was disappear from our room even Food & Beer !! Then I asked to Reception, they said only move the oven and fridge to another room before we came back and had no perception of foods which left inside and no apology from them, just said " it has nothing inside the fridge".

The photos aren't a good representation of the hotel, it is not that nice. We got a twin with a shared bathroom and the room was tiny and turned out to be bunk beds! There was a TV in the room but it was at an awkward angle. The shared bathroom was a good size but the bath/shower was not clean and the shower flooded the floor. In general the staff were nice and relatively helpful, but in terms of value for money this place is not good, and does not reflect the pictures. Pluses: good location

Stayed there twice within two weeks. First we were given a tiny little room for a couple of days; the second time we stayed 1 night and got a nice big room with two double beds (we are a couple). Location was okay, close to the subway. Staff was not well informed, but were friendly. Rooms and bathrooms were clean.

We have stayed at the Waldorf-on business-and this wasn't the Waldorf. HOWEVER, it was more like a small European hotel, and neat, and quiet. They accommodated any request we had. We were in a real NYC neighborhood with friendly people, There were grocery stores and drug stores and flower stands and anything else you wanted close by. We hadn't stayed Uptown before and we worried about getting to events Downtown. The subway was a block from the hotel and convenient.
