Wireless are mandatory in the room in 2012!!! Even if it's not free but having to go on the first floor to receive internet is really annoying !

As a place to stay, there were no complaints, only thing was there was no common area/ laundry/ kitchen, which made it difficult to eat/ wash clothes/ meet new people

Great place! I stayed there on two different occasions and both met the expectations and more. Hard to find a better place for that price. Very clean. I recommend.

The room we booked was very tiny, the only thing that fit in there was the bed, it was practically impossible to move. We had to share the small bathroom with only 1 toilet, 1 sink and 1 shower with about 4 other rooms what we really did not expect when booking this room. Also, the staff was not very nice, they did not seem to care about their guests and even talked with each other in spanish in our presence. The whole hostel seems really old and definitely needs a lot of renovation.

People/staff were always helpful and nice, bathrooms could be cleaner or cleaned more often. Wifi to all floors would make it alot better :)

excellent location - right by an express subway station, shops nearby, quiet area rooms were clean and cosy, shared bathroom was clean negative was that the heating got turned off one evening due to complaints that rooms are too hot... come on... staff was nice, though they charged us 2$ for each bag to store all in all: next time i'm coming to NY i'd stay there again!

Please fix the heater, it\'s so noisy. And share WiFi to every room, not just first floor.

Very poor service. Please stop hiring guys that don't care about your stay.... Location is OK, a block away from subway. Hostel itself is ugly inside. Private room was just a box. I prefer not imagine the dorms…. Stay there unless you have no other option.

Great hostel. Comfy beds and clean sheets/toilets (I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the hostel restrooms). Good location - short walk to central park and quick and easy on the subway to downtown. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended =)

Except the location, I really didn't like this hostel. i paid less for a GREAT hotel in DC. The staff completely forgot us (The maids didn't come for 3 nights, we were suppose to have towels we are still waiting for..) and it was way too expensive for that service. Besides that the location is excellent; 2mins walking to the red line and then literally 10min from time square.

There should be wireless availability in rooms or a computer room for laptop users rather than the lobby. People with reserved rooms should get the type of room reserved.

The hotel is only about a 2 minute walk from the subway, the staff was helpful, the room was clean. The shower however... not so much. it was okay but I still decided to skip the shower.... also the heater was kinda weird and their kept coming steam out of it and it whistling (not very nice when you wanna go to sleep...). But overall it was okay

Appalling. There was blood stains on my blanket, the people in the room next door repeatedly came home at awful hours, singing extremey loudly and were never told to be quiet. They also attempted to break down our door several times. We were charged roughly $200 more than were were quoted on the website and the hotel was not interested in rectifying this mistake. Threw only wifi at reception, which is just stupid. We ended up checking out 4 days early and saved around $200 pp at the new place
