The hostel itself was great -- it had an excellent location and the room was nice, very clean, and bright. When you arrive, there is no sign and you have to call up to reception to be let in, which was a bit confusing because we didn't know that beforehand. When we arrived, our reservation was not processed correctly, so we could not stay two nights, and the staff offered very little assistance in finding alternative accommodations and did not compensate us at all, which was very frustrating.

Our room was nice and clean, and it is indeed right in the Old Town near Charles Bridge, but the overall place had no atmosphere-- unlike the photos show. One thing that made me very nervous was that you cannot exit a locked door without having the key... and you needed two keys to get out of your room! Doesn't this break some fire code?!
Room is not how pictures show. Loud. Window in door which doesn't block light. No curtain. Curtain was broken and didn't cover window. The amount of keys to access the room wasn't great. Very loud, able to hear people coming and going. Breakfast not included.
was hard to find with the directions they gave us, so when they say head towards Charles bridge about five minutes. What you really need to do is leave metro train station (forget what its called starlosska or something like that) head towards charles bridge, when you see the bridge (you should see it from the 100's of tourists gallivanting across it on your left) turn right down karlova st and walk till you see an Irish bar on the right and it should be right next to it :) breakfast was great
