The place was very clean, and the beds comfortable and clean too. Location excellent and staff really nice. Did not like "Luggage Storage" as this was just leaving your luggage in the foyer near the counter. though there were lockers in your room once you needed to check out there was no safe place to keep valuables. The location and the staff at this hostel were excellent! The only negatives were the small size of the common room, and the slightly moldy smell, neither of which can be helped in an old building such as this one. The location more than makes up for this though. Right on the Royal Mile and perfect walking distance to all the sights. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.The location and the staff at this hostel were excellent! I chose this hostel because it was right across the street from the haggis adventure office, which made it super convenient. There were lockers in the room to use, which kep my stuff safe.
