Rucksack Inn is a nice hostel to stay with. Location is great for it's accessible by nearby MRT, mall & groceries, Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. It is clean, quiet, good shower & toilet, with nice living room! The staff are nice and helpful. Wi-fi is smooth and there are computers for guests. It's worth the money; for short staying or longer one. I only hope that they can provide better blanket and towel like Rucksack Inn @ Temple Street.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Cambodia. The reception staff were friendly and helpful - even helping us with our bags up the stairs (there is no elevator!!). The hostel was neat & clean. The "all day" breakfast is a bit misleading as it's really only unlimited white bread - perhaps some fruit & brown bread would be good. We found the location great for what we wanted (short walk to Chinatown & great food!). The only downside was that we had some very noisy neighbours!!

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in, if not the best. The location is second to none. I really appreciated being able to use the facilities until the evening, as I had a late night flight out from Changi Airport. The staff are very accommodating, much appreciated! I'll definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Singapore, and I really hope I am!

I´ve been to Singapore many times but never have stayed in this hostel. It was great to stay there, everything was clean, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. I definitely would go there again. The hostel is also very well located so that you can reach MRT or Clark Quay by walk in a few minutes.

Directions were spot on. very clear. On arrival Alvin had a glass of water poured out straight away. He showed me the dorm which was really clean and actually quite cute. You get a reading lamp by your bed and an electric point too. The shared bathroom was the cleanest ive found in asia and spacious. You get free toast/butter/jam 24hrs, as well as tea & coffee. You can use the kitchen for cooking. Wifi is great too. Top place to stay, especially for budget travellers.

This is a very nice place to stay in Singapore! I can recommend it and would stay there again! The MRT is in 3 minutes walking distance and you can easily do the river walk to marina bay within 15 minutes, so the location is really good. We stayed in a double room and it was very nice. The bathroom is shared but it was very clean!!! When we arrived one of the staff gave us a great introduction to Singapore and all sights. That was very nice and a good help!

Great hostel for those who like a quiet atmosphere and somewhere just to stay, rather than socialise. The rooms were spotless and the bathrooms were always clean. The location is also nice and central to everything!
