Very few backpackers, mostly people who are living in the area.

The place exudes friendly atmosphere, the location is fantastic for bargain shoppers, the staff very hospitable, offered help to get a fantastic deal for family of six with a child for airport transport.

Really good location. Good lounge area with free tea, coffee and toast all day. Only thing is room can be a bit cramped. Lot of beds in a small room. But had an awesome time here and as a solo traveler was cool place to meet people.

Rucksack was great! I loved that the MRT station was right behind it, made it easier to move about. I think the common area could be made cozier. Also, the comforter needs to be changed and washed frequently as the one I used had an unpleasant smell, probably from the previous user. Not a big issue but it was rather uneasy. Everything else was perfect. I will recommend Rucksack if you are on a budget but want a nice place and you get to meet a lot of people.

Had a great time staying there over the Lunar New Year. It was perfectly located in Chinatown for the celebrations. Overall a great hostel that is clean and has a great staff.

Does having been here 3 times mean something? Obviously, this is the place to be when in Singapore. At night the surrounding is full of life. Getting into places is easy since MRT is very close. Will come back again.

So little room for so many people, even for a Backpackers!
