Rumblefish is the most hospitable hostel that I've ever visited, and with the friendliest staff. Thien and Miz are the best! While you are there they treat you like family.

this place was great, although id advise staying in the dorm instead of the private twin because it was much smaller and ended up being too warm compared to the breezey dorm.

The mix dormroom is great. It is clean and huge. I met great people and the atmosphere is really friendly. Great place to meet new people. For people who want to make party is kata beach the wrong adress. Katabeach is nice for drinks but thats it.

Rumblefish was kind of a random find for us on Hostels.com, but it ended up being a great stay, mostly because of the people we met who were also staying there. Rumblefish is a PADI dive shop and training center that also has accomdations on their upper floors. Most people who stay there are doing scuba diving training. However, the location is great (100-200m from 3 beaches), and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a guesthouse for people planning to go scuba-diving. If you are not planning it, don't go there because it is a waste of time and money. The place does not look like a hostel but like a scuba-shop with additional rooms for rent upstairs. However the stuff speaks very well English and is very helpful. The room itself was big and comfortable - very nice, we very much liked staying there.

very helpful staff. But the owner is not always available to meet. It is diver shop so you can buy some gears with good price. Very very clean room but while we stayed for 5days there was no cleaning the room. Free cookies and tea was awesome! overall pretty good place with small budget.

My boyfriend and I booked two nights here in the private twin bedroom with AC. We liked it so much we stayed an extra four nights! The owner was incredibly accommodating and you cannot beat the price for the location. We never had a problem with noise but were close to dining, the beach and night life.

Can't quite believe this place is as good as it is for the money. One of the cleanest places I've stayed in SE Asia. The free tea and coffee and cheap water refill are great extras and the staff are great. Highly recommended.

The hostel was very good. Very good located and it\'s really nice inside. It\'s 5 minutes walk from the center of Kata Beach. My room has only fan, and I really need an aircon in that. The staff was really helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rumblefish Adventure Hostel, the Atmosphere is very friendly and perfect if you wanna meet some nice people. I also really liked that it is situated in a smaller street so it is very quiet but you just have to walk a few minutes to the beach or for food and party.

The staff are lovely and very helpful. We were able to come back and use the showers after checkout. They give you a great map with recommended restaurants, organise airport transfers and tours. They provide drinking water for a nominal fee which is great.
