staff helpful & friendly & spoke great English. Everything worked as it should. I really like that they encourage recycling - the first time I have seen this in Thailand. Close to everything. Tea/coffee making facilities & emergency food available was good.

I had a great time at Rumblefish! The staff were awesome & friendly, everyone made you feel welcome. I also went diving with Rumblefish (Completed my open water) and it was a fantastic experience, I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking to stay in the Kata Beach, Phuket area!

I had a great time at rumble fish. This is a great choice. Clean, great staff, proffeshional dive instructor (chris) and a great place to meet people. Only down side is that there is no air con. Other than that it's perfect!

This guesthouse definitely caters to scuba divers, but even as non-divers, the two of us enjoyed our stay here. Miz, the owner, was very nice, and she gave us a good map and recommendations for her favorite places to eat and things to see around Kata Beach. It was a very relaxing stay.

This was a great hostel/dive shop. You might end up getting roped into going scuba diving though.. Just a little warning. The staff are great.

This is a great hostel. Location is good - close to the beach, shops, restaurants etc. Kata is quite full on - vey touristy! But this hostel is located in a nicer area called the kata beach centre. Staff here r really helpful. The hostel is quiet. Rooms are very spacious. Good wifi (downstairs only). Great place for divers.

At first I found the staff very helpful, but then I made the mistake of "getting to know them better." After such time they berated me with stupid comments. When you travel to Kata, you're most likely in a "relax/beach" mode and want to keep to yourself rather than strike up a conversation at every possible moment. They were very annoying to say the least.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Made me feel very welcome during my stay. Great value for the price; the room I booked was clean, decent wifi, good location. The shared bathroom was a little inconvenient, but other than that, great place!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was very friendly and the hostel was super clean. I also loved how they offered free tea and coffee, as well as other snacks to purchase! This is definitely an ideal place to stay if you want to do a diving course, but it's also a great location if you're just looking to go to the beach too. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Loved my stay at Rumblefish! The owner and staff were very friendly and down to earth, and quite willing to have a drink on a night time to get to know their guests. Also having a dive centre attached was a massive plus.
